Hotel Carlo Magno in Ischia Town

I stayed at this property for a week, with half board. The structure has two swimming pools, one outdoors and one indoors, heated and presented as "thermal water". I found this pool hot on the first day, lukewarm the second and unusable in the following days because it was cold, I spent almost every day at the reception to point out my desire to use the pool for which I paid, every day I the answer was “yes, now we will heat it up”, but this water was cold and it remained cold until recently, when I left the facility. I would have preferred a "no, we don't feel like it, go for a swim in the sea" instead of teasing, but oh well. On the other hand, the nerve to ask for the extra contribution for the pizza party, organized on their own initiative as an event to replace the dinner (which, let's remember, I should have included in the half board). Then we pass over the quality of the pizza, it is still a structure used to welcome tourists and tourists do not know that the pizza must be left to rise out of the stomach.
Rude (to put it kindly) staff at the reception, I've never seen anywhere respond with "what am I supposed to do?" to a customer with a room problem. The receptionist should be there on purpose to act as an intermediary between customer and staff and solve problems of various kinds, I have to tell him what should he do?
Room 58 is located practically under the pool, so you don't sleep at night because there is noise, plus the smell of sewage comes out of the shower. Fortunately we were in the low season and we were able to move.
The food at dinner was of poor quality, stringy meat, flimsy fish, clearly frozen (in Ischia, not in the Swiss Alps. Ischia), for breakfast there were practically only croissants, cans of various fillings and leftovers from yesterday's desserts. The only positive note: the very polite waiters.

Hotel max 2 stars. The indoor thermal pool with two whirlpools, warm thermal water of unknown composition and virtues. In general, you eat pretty well with good table service thanks to kind and attentive waiters. Standard room overlooking the exit path to the driveway. Wide and panoramic open spaces. Outdoor pool dangerously close to tables and chairs. For a week the water looked increasingly dirty. There does not seem to be a constant circulation, which is perceptible instead in the thermal pool. Approximate room cleaning but timely towel change. Underfilled parking. There is nothing to see nearby unless you go to the pedestrian area of ​​Forio. Transport services isolate excellent punctual and capillary.
