We were only in the city for one night. The owner was so kind to us. He let us store our bags at the hotel so we could go to Pompeii and tour. He gave us everything that he needed. Yes, it can be a little noisy at night. But people have unreasonable expectation of noise levels when you are staying in the city. You will have noise if you stay in the city. I would definitely stay there again.
The added tax was a bit of a surprise ******* should cover this or at least make your aware

The area around the flat was a bit daunting as it was filthy with rubbish everywhere…but once we got the feel of it we loved it. Easy walk to metro and museum. Fabulous and cheap Italian restaurants very close . Wonderful host who couldn’t do enough fir us.

The rooms are cleaned daily and many things were provided free of charge by the staff, such as new soaps and shower gels, clean towels, bottled water, tea, etc., including cappuccino and snacks delivered straight to our room in the morning.
