Napolart in Naples

We stayed here five nights--lots to see in Naples area. This B&B is in the third floor of a building and has about 7 rooms all on one floor, a small reception area, small breakfast room, and a lovely terrace part of which is covered by a tarp that keeps rain and sun off. What you should know if you plan to stay here is that the wifi was execrable in every room (of the four that our group occupied). It was super-low-speed, intermittently non-existent. It was also a different un and pw in every area--one for your room, one for the "lobby" and one for the terrace. When I complained about the bad wifi quality, the dude looking after the place opened the closet with a router, saw that one of the antennas had fallen off and stuck it back in the router (by pushing it into the hole it had fallen from) to make it look like it was where it was supposed to be, with no effect on the dismal quality of the wifi. Normally you could tether your computer to your phone, but that also didn't work inside the rooms because of the thick stone walls of the ancient building in which the B&B was located. The only place you could catch a reasonable signal was the terrace. However, the receptionist would not allow us to use the terrace outside of breakfast hours. Why? "I don't know" he said. "Who can I talk to about this to get permission?" "I don't know" he said. Other things about the B&B were fine and there's a Sri Lankan family working there who deserve special credit for being helpful and friendly beyond what was required. But management's inability to provide reasonable wifi and then on top of that unwillingness to mitigate this problem by allowing us on the terrace to use a good signal left me with unpleasant memories, so we won't be staying here next time we're in Naples.
