Great location tucked away down a typical narrow Naples street, old building with original features still intact (just look up!). Walking distance from all the main attractions (museum and catacombs especially). Main railway station for pompeii and Sorrento is about 1km away. Max is a great host, and check out the bakers almost opposite for cheap but excellent food.

I loved my stay at Le Stanze del Vicere. The Staff were fantastic, Max, Pierrot and Pina. I would certainly come back. There is an orange tree in the garden. The rooms were lovely. There is a very good restaurant nearby. I had a great stay. I had such a laugh with Max, PIna and Pierrot. Thank you!

I would definitely not describe Le Stanze as a boutique hotel. The rooms are very basic. Our shower leaked, the main light didn't work, the bedside light switches were faulty & the bed very uncomfortable. Although we pointed out the issues with the shower & lights nothing was done. The breakfast offering was very limited & sparce. I appreciate the building itself is old but the rooms are desperately in need of updating

Perfectly placed for exploring, the building is very old and so much character, if you prefer a modern build you wont appreciate the beauty of this building. There are no lifts or a bar etc Rooms are clean and beds are huge, comfy pillows and the air con was great, staff friendly and helpful There is a family of cats in the gardens I think we counted up to 12, they have been spoiled rotten by my boyfriend he went to the little shop outside daily and bought bags of cat biscuits for under 2 euro and fed them they don’t appear to need it but they loved him and became pals he wants to see if we can keep this going so they don’t forget him 🥰

This area in Naples is so run down and the whole building looked depressing. From a dark room with no facilities no coffee in room and 2 days no clean towels or toilet rolls. The garden is over grown with rusty furniture and is full of ants and cat muck. It’s 25 minutes to walk down to the town but we aware it’s up hill back in heat then you have 58 steps into the hotel. We had a late flight back but the only offer of help was to store the luggage. We wanted to pay for a late check out but apparently it’s was booked up. This is strange as 2 rooms were available on 2 different booking sites. We wouldn’t return if we went back to Naples sadly it was in too much disrepair.

The hotel was in a perfect location as long as you don’t get lost in the streets which are very difficult to navigate! The family are very welcoming and the rooms are basic but satisfy basic needs. The WiFi is very good and so is the coffee (as it is everywhere in Italy). Shower was nice and rooms very clean everyday. Electronics were a bit outdated as with other general aspects of the hotel. It was quaint and very Italian. IT IS BASIC - but absolutely perfect for a new nights to enjoy Naples.

Charming boutique hotel. Attentive service, including flexibility around check-in and check-out times. Situated in an atmospheric old Neapolitan grand house/minor palace. Really helpful manager, Emanuelle, who gave us tips and advice about where to go and what to do while in Naples. Other staff all friendly and helpful. Bountiful orange trees in the garden. Loved staying here. Definitely recommended for an authentic Neapolitan stay.

Perfect location for exploring this amazing and mad city! Beautiful old apartment building, huge room, lovely breakfast and friendly hosts. Room was cleaned every day and air con worked perfectly. Fab base to use if you want to be near the attractions of Naples.

Hotel was very clean, extremely warm welcome from Mario! So friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful and very clean. Great breakfast and again Mario was very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Suggested places to visit and provided map. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Centrally located with great transport links. Beautiful building dating from the 1600 . Incredible painting on the dining room ceiling,dates from the 1800. Great location. Although the walk up the hill is challenging for anyone with mobility issues. Car parking pace very limited Our hosts were warm and welcoming. Very helpful give useful information. The breakfast is very simple coffee and croissants . No cooked breakfast .
