Hotel Sant'Agata in Sant-Agata Sui Due Golfi

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel, it was the end of the season and very quiet yet all the high standards from the staff and owners remain. On sunny days we were the only people at the pool yet they checked on us regularly bringing drinks and enquiring if we needed anything. On rainy/dull days they advised on trips and walks even offering transport to different places. The hotel is in a quaint village with plenty of restaurants and shops, it's away from Sorrento which suits us the local buses are very reliable into Sorrento and surrounding areas. The hotel is well maintained and spotlessly clean, the restaurant food is varied and well prepared, and the management and staff go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your time there. We were home just one day before booking our return visit. Thank you to Claudio and his team for an excellent holiday and we'll see you in 2026.

Bit late with our review but we had the pleasure of spending a week (June 2025) at this amazing hotel for our 30th Anniversary and first trip to Italy. We have no words other than special, amazing, spotlessly clean, fabulous staff. We will definitely return at some point. The staff go above and beyond and from when you enter reception you feel so welcome. Peaceful and relaxing just what we love. Best hotel we have ever stayed in. What a lovely week we had. The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. Great location next to a supermarket and a few minutes walk to the main boy of the village and shops and restaurants and bars. Also the bus stop that takes you to Sorrento for 1.50 euros. We also walked down to Sorrento which took around 45 minutes but there are many uneven steps snd cobbles. We booked all our trips through the hotel. Food was great we had half board. Staff really friendly and helpful.

We have just returned from a great holiday in this hotel. The staff are amazing and attentive, extremely friendly and helpful. There is a choice of meals for the evening and a good selection for breakfast. The hotel is clean, smart and modern. The pool is area is well laid out but the pool is too cold, I missed being able to swim but otherwise a great place to spoken a holiday and hope to return again.

Fantastic and friendly hotel for our family summer holiday. Location was perfect, rooms great and staff went that extra mile....even acting as a translator at the local police station for us! (Don't ask!)

A lovely experience. It's a peaceful environment with no forced fun and plenty of time to just relax, swim and read. It's perfect for us as that's the type of people we are. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were extremely friendly but not overbearing at all. The town of Sant'Agata itself has my heart ❤️ I've been here before many many years ago as my parents used to love taking us to Sorrento and the surrounding areas and it hasn't changed a bit! Gorgeous restaurants for lunch in town, lovely little shops to mooch about in. Even a really good 24 hr launderette if you want to clean your clothes! 🤣 Easy access to Sorrento - €3 return on the local bus and the reception can provide you with the timetables. Reception suggested a boat trip trip to Amalfi and Positano with a company they advertise in the lobby which was fantastic. They do Capri as well, but we didn't get to do that as I injured my leg halfway through the trip and rherefore couldn't walk 😞 next time! Overall I'd say please just go and enjoy. Things to note but which did not detract from our lovely holiday: - the roads around the hotel are busy so there is a fair bit of traffic noise - Sant agata can also be a bit busy with traffic - the mains for half board could be a little lacking and I see they are attempting to cater for the British by adding random frozen veggies 🤣 pasta was always perfect though. I'm half Italian with a mum who cooks the best Italian food, so I am very spoilt. - In our late 20s/early 30s we were on the younger side of guests at the hotel.

Had a lovely week at this hotel. Staff were lovely and hotel was really nice. The only thing I will say is the decor of the rooms on website are different in real life. They need to update website. Rooms are modern and clean but not grand as on website. Breakfast for us was a disappointment. Small buffet but didn’t really cater for the English as it was hot dogs and boiled bacon/ham. There are boiled and scrambled eggs available and you can ask for fried egg or omelette. Lots of cakes, salad, chips and fruit. Also on a very busy main road very very noisy.

Fantastic Hotel spotlessly clean , food amazing every night , waiting staff looked after you so well , nice pool area rooms were lovely. There was a supermarket 200 yards away great choice of everything, only a bus ride from Sorrento 20 mins €1.50 each What a Gem definitely will return

Brilliant hotel in a great location with superb staff. Sant'agata sui golfi (not to be confused with the other one on you tube) excellent small town with several excellent restaurants (would avoid Buenes Aries), Conad supermarket a short stroll from the hotel, and bus stop to Sorrento. The Hotel - excellent, the rooms are so clean and with the air con are very good. Breakfast - Anna and Carla and the restaurant staff do a great job, variety of eggs available and cake for breakfast options plentiful, great croissants, excellent. The pool - always sun bed availability and good pool, special shout out to Enzo at the bar there, hope you get to see Messi play and enjoy your trip home to Argentina, good value drinks and excellent service. Hotel reception - all amazing, Michele on the overnight through to the young lady and staff at all times, always happy to go above and beyond and help with maps, bus times, suggestions on places to go and trips. Great lambretta, fiat, and vespa collection in the basement (ask Claudio). Location - up the mountain from Sorrento, there is a walk down takes around 50 mins or the bus takes around 25, get a ticket from the tabbichi next to the lottery store in the town, reliable service and some great views. Highly recommend a walk to the other end of town and the Monastery tower on a clear day, superb views. We can only say thank you grazie to the staff at this hotel, buona notte Michele!

Lovely family feel and welcoming hotel! Very clean rooms and public areas. Stayed half board and there were always plenty of options to suit all and food was of a high quality! All the staff were friendly, informative and made you feel at home. Pool was always highly maintained and service exceptional. Would not hesitate to return or recommend to all! Mark and Helen
