From the moment we entered the hotel, we were welcomed very kindly and hospitably. The hotel is located at the seaside, on a beach where green and blue meet
They were all friendly and accommodating. The seafront view was priceless. Slept with the balcony doors open every night and listened to the waves. Watched the sun come up in the morning a few times also
I is a great place to visit! This is not about luxury but warm hearted staff. Including the owners ! The beach is rocky but the water is clean as the sky! As the service including housekeeping very helpfull
It is the most convenient place to stay, swimming pool, own beach, crystal clear sea and then a short walk into Letojanii with ample restaurants
The location of the hotel is perfect, steps down and your on the beach. Enough (free) sunbeds, basically private beach. Water is crystal clear!! Life savers working through the day watching the beach and pool
This is the most unexpected hotel in Sicily.
The facilities, hygiene and linens are very good.
The breakfast is also very good.
It is located right by the sea and has its own beach.
It is also very close to Taormina.
Grand hotel on the island of Lido minutes from Venice by water taxi. Has a nice beach. One of the main hotels used for the Venice International Film Festival. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
A magnificent hotel with an endless beach, excellent service, and very good cuisine. I recommend it.
This hotel is a vintage gem, keep that in mind. If classic Italian styling speaks to your heart and you want to enjoy Venice without the crowds, stay here. The beach was nearly private in the evening
The room had a large bed when I checked in, but I asked to change it to a twin bed. Because the room change delayed dinner time, the manager personally served us to the restaurant and let us dine while we waited
Unfortunately, our luggage didn’t arrive with us, but the concierge team was incredible — they took charge, constantly followed up, and worked tirelessly until our bags were safely returned
It was very pleasant to have a glass of wine and feel the sea breeze in the evening. The swimming pool is kept constant temperature, and the sea water is not cold enough to swim in the sea

Warm welcoming staff.
Breakfast buffet was always plentiful and good selection.
Great room, very comfortable queen bed and fantastic sea view. Hotel is built in to the cliffs with private beach accessible by a lift.
The hotel has it's own beach, offers an amazing full breakfast with everything you can think of, and has a beach restaurant
Because the hotel is built into the cliff and overlooks the sea, the views are incredible! All the service staff from the reception to housekeeping to the restaurants are 5 star plus
And don't even think about walking from the hotel - dangerous! I highly recommend trying their on-site restaurant for dinner. The restaurant has fantastic food and outstanding service. You'll get a lot for your money
The only drawback to Hotel Cetus is also it's advantage, it's not within walking distance of a town or near anything so you have to brave the extreme traffic to get anywhere
Hotel Cetus was unlike any hotel I've ever stayed at. First, when you arrive you'll realize that you can't even see a hotel
For lunch we always ate very well at the beach restaurant (always gluten free). The hotel is located in front of the hotel, it is very comfortable, well maintained and clean
Great beach hotel near Porto Cesareo
We had a wonderful stay at the end of May before the busy season picked up! Very friendly staff and nice facilities
The room is thoroughly cleaned daily, towels and sheets are changed every 2 days. The mattress is brand new and very comfortable. A hearty breakfast is served at the table, even gluten-free
The beach club immediately in front is excellent with a very nice restaurant and soft sand beach
Área was walkable, beach was very nice. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would stay again if I’m the area.
The rooms come with an ombrellone and two lettini on the beach, which is great, plus free parking and a discount at the bar/restaurant. 10-minute walk to the porto, with lots of dining options
This side of Sardinia offers a variety of curiosities: gourgeous beaches, caves (grotta), natural pool, boat cruises, etc. Although critics say otherwise, we had more than enough to do during our 10-day stay
We spent our days relaxing on the stunning beach, enjoying refreshing swims in the sea, and making the most of the lovely weather. It was the perfect break — peaceful, sunny, and just what we needed
What an amazing and beautiful resort. The staff were friendly and professional. The kids were always entertained by some incredibly great staff. It was a perfect getaway and got the rest and family time we wanted
The hotel is very clean and offers everything we needed for a wonderful stay: pleasant pool, private beach, swimming supervising at both, breakfast and dinner, all in one place
I don’t get the negative reviews at all. We have spent 7 nights with half board in here in September. The food was great lots of variety. We got unlimited wine at night. Staff was very nice and friendly at the reception
We are leaving with stunning pictures and memories in mind. Thank to all the team and their kindness, especially Eugenia, Morena, Elena, Monica, Mauro, Martino, and Andrea for his desserts 😘 Highly recommend 👏👍
Everything was perfect but the pool was on the cold side and you were not able to walk in the pool at all. It’s completely over your head so you can’t relax in it at all. Other than that, the place is Heaven on Earth.
Best of everything in one convenient scenic location! Boutique hotel with superb service from the porters who were always ready, the concierge to assist with all our excursions and set us up in the best rooms for our family
The accommodations were very appealing and the hotel was not overcrowded or noisy. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay to visit Amalfi but yet have separation from the busy and loud city streets
The hotel staff were excellent in all areas of service. We would definitely book this hotel again
I love the fact that it was close in proximity to everything! Aminutes walk
Only downside is that the location is a bit far from the city centre, but you can walk this distance on the beach, so it's all worth it
Great breakfast and dinner clean, safe. Easy walk to beach and nearby restaurants.
Welcoming receptionists, helpful housekeepers, efficient waiters. Fish dinners excellent, breakfasts plentiful with something offered to suit anyone's taste. Good value for money - no complaints from us
I've stayed many times at Maja Hotel and I love it! Very nice and clean rooms, nice staff and good breakfast. The view of the sea is great from any room
Dinner was just ok; I wish there were more options but portions are generous 3. Overall, I would happily go back but would hope they updated the internet, showers and added outlets for convenience
This could easily have been a 5/5 but for a few small things that were inconvenient. Breakfast was amazing - (best hotel breakfast I've had in the past 5 countries/14 cities) 5/5
Perhaps it was because the hotel was very quiet for our stay, but we pretty much had the entire pool area and most of the place to ourselves and we did book the screening room one evening to watch a classic Coppola film on our second evening
This was our first stop after landing in Italy and what a wonderful way to rest up and acclimatise to the time change. A beautiful property - truly like visiting a Palazzo versus staying in a hotel
The staff were very welcoming and attentive. We ended up eating dinner in the courtyard for our two nights, as well as the provided breakfast and it was lovely
Sadly, there was building work in the adjacent property during our stay, so that made it a rather noisy pool experience, but it was still very relaxing. We tried the cinema one night and that was rather fun
I had dinner here once and coffee a number of times. Dinner was by father the best I had in Bernalda. Atmosphere, decor and music was divine
And outside seating was my favourite in Bernalda for musing and people watching. The only thing that would have made me like this place more was if the jukebox have been working, which apparently it will be soon!
The beach is located right behind the hotel and the beach restaurant serves tasty and high quality food as well. We were very satisfied and happy with our choice to stay here
We have used this hotel already several times for our business trip. Always very friendly and helpful staff, combined with delicious Italian style breakfast and dinner. Just perfect.
Spacious by Italian standards, the sunbeds are thoughtfully spaced so you never feel crowded. The food is simply yummy, always fresh, delicious, and exactly what you want after a morning at the beach
Renovations and new additions have blended seamlessly with its original charm. The exclusive beach club is one of its crown jewels
We love that the hotel is very family friendly. I don’t understand why the rating isn’t higher on google. I’m giving this hotel 5 stars on google. I highly recommend this hotel
A Timeless Italian Tradition
I’ve been visiting the Mare Pineta Resort since I was a year old, and over the decades it has become a cherished family tradition
One of our favorite days was spent lounging by the ocean and swimming in the Mediterranean away from the crowded beaches. The staff at the hotel were kind, courteous and more than hospitable
Beautiful hotel at the waters edge albeit 300 steps up! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Good wifi - able to stream/FaceTime. Located just steps from the town centre
We loved our stay at Hotel Marincanto!! The location was close to everything, easy walk to town and restaurants. But more than anything, the staff was excellent
This hotel made our stay in Positano a couple of the best days of our lives! Service was amazing in every location - lobby desk, lobby bar, breakfast, pool area, beach area, parking lot - just amazing in every way
Our room was incredible overlooking the clear blue sea and views of Positano were magnificent. You will not be disappointed staying here! Total luxury with gorgeous views!
Excellent service and Friendly staff throughout the stay. Peter was an excellent bartender! Accommodation where amazing with the best view!
And the bathroom is small but seemed recently updated. About a 10 min walk to beach with a couple of restaurants there. Paid parking at the beach that takes card. Overall we liked it and would stay again
Gianni is a natural host who spends his days talking to guests, sharing his love for Sardinia, and finding ways to make every stay special. His staff are no different – always smiling, helpful, and attentive
Every interaction felt warm and genuine. We loved everything about our time here – the hospitality, the atmosphere, and the personal touches that made it feel so much more than just a hotel stay
He accompanied us (along with other guests) to the festival, acting as our translator and guide, making it such a memorable and authentic experience
I can’t recommend Hotel Fior di Sardinia highly enough!
Breakfast was good-meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, pastries. The rooms definitely leave something to be desired. They are very plain & just a room w a bed & tv & dresser
Beach club was amazing, with steps into the sea into a cordoned off area to swim safely, with lovely floats to lay on
We had a car, so managed to drive to Ravello and Amalfi but there is a shuttle but this only runs twice a day
I really enjoyed and would definitely recommend a visit, what made my experience special was the staff, thank you so much to Teresa, Roberta and Giuliana who were ever so welcoming, friendly and very attentive to all my needs and requirements, they made the experience unforgettable with their warm welcome and sweet kindness
I visited hotel marmorata for breakfast and it was an awesome experience. The terrace with sea view overlooks a beautiful part of the amalfi coast and is decorated with lovely local ceramics and many colourful flowers
Drinks were good and the bartender was fantastic, although, priced very high but I guess that’s Amalfi for you. The hotel does have shuttles but they are very limited in times and taxis are outrageously priced
A jewel of a hotel tucked into the coastline just outside amalfi. It’s great being away from the busiest spots in the area. Staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are quite high but so is the entire area
I’ve been to some beautiful places in my life & am always pleased when I go somewhere that tops my list. The view, ambiance, service, food and overall experience of the Amalfi Coast were truly memorable
When I had originally read the reviews for this hotel I was nervous that I had chosen badly but, to my very pleasant surprise, this hotel is a hidden gem!
It’s incredibly located, right on the beach where you experience a beautiful sunset every night
The beach and the location are fantastic. The life guard, Filippo, deserves special credit for his high professional and capable performance of his work. We will probably return to this hotel
This property is situated in a gorgeous area… beautiful beach. The reason for my low rating is the staff. They were not helpful, not friendly.
They let us check in early and helped us get a 2 hour taxi when the trains went on strike. Everyone was great. Dinner starts later so be prepared for most restaurants to open at 8 pm
The hotel is also well located in that it takes roughly 10 minutes to walk into the base of the old town. Then it takes some time to go up all those stairs if you’re wanting to go to the top!
Yes, the rooms are dated
Location was great!!! Room was a little dated, but comfortable. Pillows, however, were very uncomfortable. Hospitality staff were friendly and offered great service. Front desk staff were not friendly or helpful.
But, in case you want to shower after the beach and before going to the airport, they won't provide you with a new towel, so you will take a shower with the towel you used for the beach
Fourth time at Moresco Hotel, and as always… just incredible. The view of the sea and Corsica off in the distance takes your breath away
I don't think you miss not being able to swim, when the beach here is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen
So thoughtful for the staff to have some nice plush robes and authentic Italian cookies awaiting us in our room. So nice to sleep with only the sound of the waves of the sea creating an ambient serenity
Yes there are some supplemental charges for the car park, but out of season street parking is free and there is a carpark nearby. Breakfast was great, as were evening aperitifs by the pool
The staff have all been very welcoming and friendly, and we've had a wonderful relaxed stay as a couple
Exceptionally Priced, for the alround attention. Rooms are a little dated, but when your enjoying all the other befits? Does it really matter. Mr & Mrs Kraszewski Brighton England
thanks hany thanks sharon thanks giulia ane monica and all the staff thanks palace hotel the best reception thanks very very much
They made us feel welcome and looked after at every moment. The private beach club is perfectly in tune with the high standards of the hotel. Every part of the experience reflected quality, comfort, and class
The Palace Hotel Milano Marittima is the true definition of seaside elegance. This beautiful beachfront retreat blends timeless style with modern luxury. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless
They are in the last few rows. But if you’re not going to the beach that much it’s OK
Always a GREAT time at the Palace. The staff are young in training but really great. The breakfast buffet is the BEST we have ever had. The room is cool and we had a nice view. The only thing is the ocean chairs
Colazione e staff che se ne occupa eccezionali! Camera silenziosa e spaziosa
The hotel is located in the nice areas, right on the main road, but the room was so quiet. I was impressed with the sandwich toaster that makes the better taste of a warm breakfast. All the staffs are super friendly

Very beautiful beach and outdoor spaces. Friendly and available waiters and staff. Rooms need to be updated and are not at all level of a 4 star hotel. We expected a way higher standard for a 700$ stay for one night
Wonderful hotel with beautiful garden area. Everything is within 500 feet walking distance (Room, ocean, restaurant). Perfect place with children, very friendly staff and food is outstanding
If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy family vacation this is it. Haven been coming back here over the last 40 years
Giacomo at the restaurant was just a hard worker and always made sure we were happy with our experience the whole time
Lovely hotel right by the sea! The staff are super friendly and always ready to help
The rooms are old-fashioned (at least the one we stayed in) but spotlessly clean and a reasonable size. We stayed on the half-board option, and dinners felt like we were in a fine dining restaurant
The spa and pool were serene escapes, perfect for unwinding, and the entire property was simply stunning. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the service
Staying there again and again a great staff super service restaurant is amazing. Few is incredible rooms of spacious walls very clean high-level of service.
I just love the vibe! Old charm and attentive service. Only thing that could be better - arrangement of sun beds in beach club. Sun beds shouldn’t be booked with towels for the time they are not actually occupied
The location is incredible, the staff makes you feel like at home. The spa is great although there were no sunbeds available for most of the time i was there. The only shortcoming is the breakfast.
We spent a week of our honeymoon here and had a wonderful experience. The staff was professional, attentive, and classy. Our room was comfortable, we received relaxing spa treatments, and enjoyed the hotel sauna & pool
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We absolutely loved our stay at the Excelsior Palace! From the moment we arrived, everything felt top notch — the room was elegant and comfortable, the view was breathtaking, and even the robes felt luxurious
Friendly, helpful, polite and thoughtful. A delightful position perched up above the main area in Taormina, with a fabulous pool and the hotel terrace for breakfast and drinks has the most wonderful view of Mount Etna
The best view of the stunning Mediterranean
This hotel is a special place as it has an old-world charm, a fabulous pool, is close to the restaurants and shops and a simply stunning view of the Mediterranean and Mt Etna
I do not like mentioning negative features especially when the owners and staff are working so hard but being an old building it is in need of some upgrades including the plumbing, bathroom and maybe supply a kettle
The hotel has an amazing view of the coast and Mt Etna. And it is only a 5-10 minute walk down some stairs and hill to the main pedestrian street. Breakfast is good and can be enjoyed on the terrace with the view
Great hotel
We had a lovely break at this hotel -staff were all lovely and incredibly helpful. Pool is set against a backdrop of beautiful gardens. Stunning views. We would happily stay again.
Michele Angelo was great to deal with. Gave us amazing suggestions and was always there to answer all my messages. Location was prime area and close to it all! Thank you for everything!!!!

I loved the atmosphere of the ocean and the scenery. Did not like that they only give you one beach towel for the entire stay
The hotel is located in a great area, with its own beach surrounded by beautiful and picturesque views. Right in front of the hotel there is a restaurant-café, which is very convenient if meals are not included
We just went to the beach and put our towels in the sand, or on a portable chair if available when we were ready to get in the sun. We ate at the restaurant across the street and had a blast
The hotel itself has a charming atmosphere, giving off an “old village” vibe. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Within walking distance, you’ll find a plaza with restaurants, shops, and another beach
We all had a great time here!!! The multiple pools was awesome. The private beach was good to have on site. Walking into town was easy and very close. the breakfast spread was outstanding
The front desk staff was fantastic. We liked the private resort which had amazing grounds including pools, and the beach/rocks. The pool/beach chair scenario is very undesireable
