This hotel in Milan is truly very central, and the Duomo is easily reachable on foot. It’s a beautiful property, recently renovated, with a stylish and distinctive design. I’ve stayed here ＞ 10 times, but this time we had a really bad experience when a member of staff made an incredibly mean, insulting and inappropriate comment about my body and literally nothing was done about it. Ruined my holiday completely. Also WiFi doesn’t work which is weird for a 5 star hotel. (Again, it hasn’t worked in years but because of how much we used to love it I didn’t mind).

Though the hotel is situated near the port, it’s very loud even in the night. The hotel room was very big but not that many furniture items there. And not very well equipped. The triple room was large and clean, contrary to my impression of Ibis rooms being small. It was also close to the pier, making it very convenient to transfer to the ferry.

This is my go-to hotel every time I visit Rome. It's right next to the Vatican, so the location is great and convenient for getting around, and most importantly, it feels very safe. The kitchen was avarage equipped but the furniture were new. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear people but it's not that bad. It is quite far from any shops so it's recommended to have a car. The hotel is clean, and I guess it would be considered a good location, but Rimini is a unattractive, junkie, Beachtown -I would never go back. The beaches, of course are beautiful, but the area surrounding this hotel feels like a circus. I would never choose to vacation here.

Pros: location, views, pool is nice, breakfast food Cons: rundown (ripped curtains etc), overpriced, and except for reception and some younger members of staff, the staff are rude and make customers feel like an inconvenience. The property was very dates and not well maintained. The interlock had weeds growing up between the stones, and the "suites" were like portapacks. The staff at the hotel were not very helpful, and anytime you asked for assistance it felt like you should not have. Nice 4 star hotel with the charme of the 70ties. Sure it needs some little things to repair, but generally it offers nice and clean rooms, also a very nice and clean swimming pool (surrounded by palm trees), private car parking and absolutely stunning view. Not bad, but the hotel is very old and in need of renovation. Cleanliness is very good, but I wouldn't recommend the ground floor rooms in the building with the pool, as they lack privacy.

This is not the first time we have stayed here. When travelling it is located quite near the motorway to make it really convenient although the roads to and from the hotel are small and a little awkward for a larger vehicle.
