The single room was nice; it was small but had everything.

The Hoxton Rome shines with stylish decor, comfortable bedding, and a vibrant terrace bar in the upscale Parioli district. Great location, helpful staff, and relaxed vibe—highly recommended for a chic stay.

We did not stay at The Hoxton but we decided to drop into their restaurant, Elio for a late dinner after a long day site-seeing. We were greeted so warmly by this amazing staff. We sat under heaters at the most comfortable table and had an amazing meal. We love the pizza and pasta in Rome but we were craving something a bit different. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was exceptional. Thank you to Mustafa for his warm greeting and assurances regarding my gluten issues, help with the menu and kind smile. We’d also like to thank our lovely waitress, Cecelia who never stopped smiling and helping us with our menu choices. The chef staff, Manuel, Alessandro V and Marco are very talented. We had the most amazing comfort food, prepared with lots of love. Thank you for a lovely dinner after a very long day. We hope to return someday.

We spent 5 nights at the Hoxton for our first ever trip to Italy. It is a very nice hotel withe modern rooms, a nice restaurant with inside and outside seating. The neighborhood is primarily residential, so is very quiet. We enjoy walking so were fine with the location. It's maybe 10 Euros for a taxi right to the major tourist areas. The staff are outstanding. There are also a couple Conad supermarkets a block away, so easy to grab stuff to make a lunch for your outings. Would definitely come back!

Staying at the Hoxton Rome--especially if you stay in one of the lovely rooms with a terrace--is like living a glamorous life in one of the best neighborhoods of the city. If you want to be in the center of it all, this is not the hotel for you. Indeed, the throngs of tourists stumbling around the cobblestoned streets of the historic center are nowhere to be found here. Instead, the Hoxton Rome is tucked away on small street that branches off of the ancient Via Salaria, amid grocery stores, a street market, and local stores and restaurants. You're just as likely to encounter affluent locals enjoying aperitivi in the lobby bar as you are to find other travelers.

The Hoxton Rome is my favorite kind of hotel: boutique hotel energy and sharp design that break free of the typical "luxury" chain hotel; a buzzy, spacious lobby with plenty of comfortable seating (staff even seem to regularly fluff and karate-chop the throw-pillows that grace the plush sofas and chairs); a strong coffee/bar offering; an in-house restaurant that draws locals (I saw several business dinners) and guests alike; and carefully-considered rooms with plenty of storage and space to spread out.

The room was a standout: multiple layers of lighting, from a handsome chandelier to sconces and bedside lamps--all on a dimmer switch, to achieve that perfect level of illumination at all times of the day. A comfortable bed and pillows--and this one is comfortable--are table stakes. We loved that there was a large table and two chairs, too, so that we could comfortably sit in the room. And the bathroom: excellent water pressure in two showerheads (overhead and hand-wand); plenty of shelf space near the sink for toiletries; and big, fluffy towels.

We spent four days at this hotel, and I found myself loving every minute of it: stretching my legs on the outdoor lounge chairs on our terrace, as we rested between sightseeing and dinner at one of the many upscale restaurants nearby. Grabbing a coffee and cornetto at the bar in the morning, while we planned our day. Watching the lobby light up in the evening with energetic (but not too loud!) and stylish patrons. For the space, design, location, and offerings, the Hoxton Rome is a great choice.

The cutest hotel in Rome! We only stayed for three nights so we will definitely stay again next time we’re in Rome. The queen room was so cute and a good size for two people. I wanted to steal the bathroom tile scheme and take it home with me it was so pretty 😍 The terrace bar is a great spot for a drink. The location is awesome as well. A bit of a walk into the main tourist centre but it’s well worth it. The Villa Borghese is beautiful and super close as well.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had a great time. The neighborhood is much quieter and nice. It did seem like we needed to taxi to get to all the tourist spots, but for a honeymoon, the area was perfect.

The hotel itself is very trendy and nice. Despite being upgraded from booking via Amex, the rooms were quite small and didn’t have a wardrobe to hang clothes. As others have said, the pillows are very thin, but they happily sent us up additional pillows.

We ate outside in the restaurant, had room service, and enjoyed breakfast at the hotel. All of the food was great.

Overall, would’ve preferred larger rooms but had a great start to our honeymoon here.

The hotel seems to have about six or seven floors. We were assigned a room on the first floor, and directly below us was the restaurant. It was incredibly noisy at night!! After 10 PM, we could clearly hear people drinking and chatting downstairs. To make matters worse, on our last night, the hotel hosted an event. From 8 PM to 10 PM, the area downstairs transformed into a mini-nightclub, and the music was so loud that our room's floor was literally vibrating... Moreover, the soundproofing between floors was also poor. You could hear everything from upstairs, even if someone dropped something or just walked a bit heavily. I have no idea how this place got such high ratings. Honestly, it's very mediocre, and it's not even that close to the city center. Remember to bring your own slippers, toothbrush, and toothpaste.

Lovely beds, super comfortable but the rooms do feel small!

We stayed here for one night at the start of our honeymoon. When we checked in, we asked about an upgrade and were told it would cost an additional 70 euros. This was surprising, especially since every other hotel we stayed at during our two-week trip offered complimentary upgrades and small honeymoon gestures, like a bottle of wine, chocolates, or even a note congratulating us. It would’ve been nice if they put a little more effort into those small but meaningful details.

The room itself was decent—comfortable bed and a nice shower. The location, however, was a bit farther from everything than we expected. The hotel was about a 45-50 minute drive from the airport. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and helpful when we needed a taxi, which was appreciated.

The reception area was nicely decorated and gave a good first impression. Overall, while the hotel itself was nice, I would consider staying again if I needed to, but I do wish they had done more to make our honeymoon feel special.
