Hotel La Residenza in Rome

We liked the place , it was beautiful. the included breakfast was very good. The staff was efficient, the restaurant in the building was excellent.
My only complaints were, a very weak Internet connection, very difficult to stream anything. There was a tiny TV on the far wall that I could barely see. it wasn’t a smart TV and all I could watch were Italian stations.
There wasn’t a coffee maker or keurig in the room.

We really felt at home. It was close to a lot of the attractions. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. Really good breakfast. They were very helpful at the front desk with getting us taxis and giving recomendations. Would definitely stay here again.

Great experience, very helpful staff and an amazing location. Accomodated my gluten free diet extraordinarily well. Outstanding staff. The restaurant attached to the hotel(not exactly sure if it is owned by the hotel) even gives a small-discount if you are a hotel guest. The food rivals any restaurant in Rome. No English channels on the TV which I personally loved.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt so secure in a hotel. We were greeted at the desk by a very professional attendant and quickly checked in. All staff that we encountered were impressive. The room was clean and spacious, with no noise from outside. The morning breakfast was delicious with courteous staff. My only advice would be that the breakfast area could use some music for ambiance. The location was safe and tucked away on a side street, but seemed to be in a superior location near the US Embassy. Another plus, was that it was one block away from a hop on hop off bus. We traveled through all the stops that took approximately 1 hour which helped us get a great overview of the city, and guide us where we wanted to revisit. It was a nice quiet change after an 11 night Mediterranean Celebrity Cruise.
