Hotel Cortina in Rome

I arrived after 4 pm so I had to register at another hotel around the corner. Very nice receptionist. My room was very clean, although very small. Nice view out the bathroom window at a small courtyard. Outside the bedroom window was a pressure tank for the water system, every time someone used the water the motor would run. I can also say that the girl across the hall enjoyed herself in the morning and evening...🤣. So don't think you will have too much privacy. The mattress on my double bed would have been comfortable if I wasn't sleeping in a sunken hole. I also tried the other side and the same thing. The Wifi is very weak and kept disconnecting from my computer. I can say the heat works well, just keep the fan on low so it isn't so loud. The water in the shower will go cold to hot. So make sure if you don't want a cold plunge experience make the water hotter than you like when you start the shower. While on the subject of the shower, there will be no showering together. I am small and it was a tight fit for me. Also, in the description it says they have parking, it is street parking, if you can find it. Or there is a parking garage around the corner for 40€ a day. Enjoy your stay in Rome.

First, the cons:
The bar downstairs is very noisy.
The room is very small and quite old.
It seems most hotels in Rome don't offer great value for money, so people should really shop around.

Pros:
The service was good. The lady at breakfast was very nice, and though it was small, the spread was quite generous.
The location is excellent; it's a short walk to both the train station and the Spanish Steps.

This hotel was in a perfect location. It was within walking distance of the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Check in process was great. Everyone was friendly and spoke English which was fantastic for us. I'm giving it a 4 because the noise from the bar below was quite loud several nights. Also the water for the shower would go really cold quite quickly.

I stayed for 4 nights.
The room was a little different from what I saw in the photos, and I was a little surprised that it had a little more character. It wasn't very spacious, but I was only there for the night, so it didn't bother me that much, and the staff were generally kind, so I was satisfied.
It was close to the station, and there was a coin laundry and supermarket nearby, so it was very convenient.
The elevator was broken, so I had to carry my carrier up the stairs. I hope it's fixed soon.

Enjoyed out stay in this lovely hotel. Room was nice and breakfast was good.

Excellent hotel with a convenient location. At the same time close to the train station and buses to the airport (about 15 min walk) and close to the center (20 min). Clean room with a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom. Delicious full breakfast.

Its is great location near everything, cozy but the bathroom a bit small but its good to have a free local guild tour program

All the hotel staff were wonderful.
Even one surgery is possible.
The hotel itself was not new, but
The customer service was very good and it was fun from beginning to end.
I was surprised at how old the elevator was!
