Excellent location, very good service, and we were well taken care of at breakfast.

I did not know it had a balcony!! Never opened the window!
The room was nicely decorated but very small as well as the bathroom. It was smaller than my cabin in the cruise ship!!
The breakfast was OK and the members of the staff were fine, not friendly but not rude either. I enjoyed the area very much.

The bedroom was a bit dated and the bathroom was very tired with black mildew on the shower grouting.  Bed very comfortable and I slept well as my room was not on the front of the hotel.  Staff very nice and helpful.  Location is great.

Central location on a pedestrian street. Taxis were difficult to get, so I had to find a bus and risked missing my return train. Very small room. Breakfast was basic, with limited selection. The hotel could be rated a two-star.

Checking was not good. They didn't have our room ready I thought we weren't going to get a room at one point because they didn't have our reservation number that ******* is suppose to provide to the hotel. Not sure who's fault it really was waited over an hour and got the room. Staff was pleasant, rooms were tidy however I did find a hair on my bed sheet. The breakfast buffet is ok. We ended up eating elsewhere. It's in a high traffic tons of people day and night. If you like the hustle and bustle I recommend this hotel. I liked it however the cabs cannot get into where the hotel is as there is to many people. So you have to walk with your luggage to the hotel which can be a pain.

I didn’t know that it was on one of the busiest streets in Rome. When I arrived, I was unable to cancel the 3 additional days of my reservation.

Workmen began noisy hammering across the hall on another room early in the morning.

The air conditioning didn’t work; opening the window wasn’t an option because of the1000s of people coming and going to Trevi Fountain.

The front desk said that they turned on the air conditioning (on day 3, after I attempted to get them to turn it on the days before to no avail) but it didn’t work even after that.

I asked if my daughter and I could change to a larger room or to a room that wasn’t overlooking the main street and they told me that this was one of their larger rooms. I don’t believe that that was true, nor that any other room was available.

The area was excellent. The lady that manages breakfast made the best cappuccino. The location is excellent we got a good room with a terrace. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable the bathroom not as clean as I like and the shower water pressure was terrible. For the price I paid I was a bit disappointed. They came in to clean our room but sis no cleaning took the towels and forgot to replace them. The breakfast is basic do don’t pay for it it that’s an option but on the flip side the cappuccino was really good

The location of this hotel is ideal. Our room was a good size, and we had a balcony, which was very nice.

Located in the city center, convenient for nearby tourism and close to the Trevi Fountain. Others are just average.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The property is run down, unclean, and the breakfast was unpleasant. While the man at check-in was kind, another staff member at reception was extremely rude and dismissive, which left me feeling very uncomfortable. For the price charged, the quality was unacceptable. We did not have hot water after 5 minutes and the air conditioner switched on and off all night, loudly enough to wake us up. Opening the windows was not an option due to the noise outside.

One of the most concerning experiences occurred when we returned from breakfast to find our room door wide open, with a painter inside painting the walls. At that time, our passports, money, and jewellery were left unsecured in the room. No one had informed us this work would be taking place. When I raised this issue with reception (which I usually wouldn’t do), I was met with hostility and ridicule instead of concern. The staff member laughed in my face, dismissed my concerns, and failed to offer even a basic apology. At one point, reception phoned our room to tell the painter to leave, while I was watching from the hallway and the painter literally stepped over our belongings to answer the phone.

When I expressed how unacceptable this was, the staff member’s response was, “Well, was anything stolen?” and, when I said no, he laughed again. He also said, “If you had a broken toilet, you’d want us to fix it, so we are painting.” Make that make sense? This response showed a complete lack of respect for guests and basic hospitality. For how expensive this place is, you would expect privacy at the bare minimum.

Additionally, the bathroom was unhygienic, with stains and mould throughout. The walls were incredibly gross too.

Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. The property itself is poorly maintained, and the staff’s attitude made the situation significantly worse. I’ve had no real response from the property with my concerns, and that is what is the most disappointing considering I’m not one to voice any complaints, but I felt completely ridiculed, dismissed and humiliated when I know for a fact, I had a valid point.
