Reviews
Dear Perla,,
That said, I’d like to clarify a few points based on my personal experience during my stay.
When I asked the front desk about transportation—whether a shuttle or a taxi- I was told the shuttle service was available only to the airport. If the shuttle also goes to the metro station, that was never communicated to me. Clear and proactive communication at check-in would have been extremely helpful and made my stay more convenient.
Regarding the towels: I travel often and have stayed in many hotels across various categories. I’ve never encountered a policy where used towels left on a bed or chair are simply rehung instead of replaced. Hospitality standards should prioritize guest comfort and hygiene, regardless of where the towel is placed.
As for the location, I understand it’s not in the city center, and I don’t expect a 4 or 5-star experience. However, the surrounding industrial area with car dumps and mechanic shops does affect the overall impression and experience. This should be communicated more transparently in your listings-especially when the price point is comparable to centrally located or higher-star accommodations. As a tourist, I rely on clear and honest descriptions before booking.
I did raise my concerns during the stay, but unfortunately, they were either not resolved or required multiple follow-ups.
I stand by my review- it’s an honest reflection of my experience. Rather than responding defensively to every detail, I’d encourage you to put that energy into improving guest service, communication, and clarity around your offerings. That’s where long-term guest satisfaction and loyalty are built.
I hope you take this as constructive feedback.
The hotel is old and unclean. Room service did not clean my room for a week despite multiple requests, and the sheets were only changed after several reminders. Staff didn’t speak English, which made communication difficult.
Towels were reused unless left on the floor. The bathroom was outdated, the tiny shower was uncomfortable, and the AC barely worked.
The hotel is far from central Rome and located in an industrial area surrounded by car dumps. No proper transportation options except an airport shuttle, and the staff wasn’t helpful with tourist info. The driveway was unpaved and there was no ramp or assistance for luggage.
My room faced the garden, but my friend’s room looked into a junkyard. The pool is nothing like the photos-tiny and not usable.
The only good part was the breakfast and the kind waitress.
Overall: Not recommended unless you need a basic overnight stop with very low expectations.
One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was the advertised pool, which was supposed to be available starting in May. However, it was completely out of service during my visit, with no explanation or warning. The entire exterior of the hotel looked neglected and quite dirty, giving the place an abandoned feel.
The service was equally poor. When we asked the staff for directions and local recommendations, they were unhelpful and seemed uninterested in assisting us.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and will certainly not be returning.
