Room heating system did not work for the first night, so i ended up sleeping in the cold.
The telephone did not work at all
The worst thing that happened was when the lift that takes you to the 4th floor hotel entrance broke down on the third day early afternoon. So i ended up walking up the full 4 stories! Eventually the lift was repaired and functional
8 hours later. Dependency on a working lift is therefore the main risk, a big one, if you want to stay at the hotel.

The hotel was a good base but was pretty basic however good value for what we paid.
The breakfast was ok but we only had it twice in 5 days. The bed was very hard and definitely not very comfortable.
The staff we dealt with were all pleasant and helpful.
The area is nice and you can walk to most attractions within 45 minutes.

Nice and close to Roma Termini and the Colosseo, has a lift and comfy beds. We wanted to make a cup of tea and the guy at reception was kind enough to give us a kettle for our room.

The hotel was very clean and the receptionists were very nice. The woman who serves the breakfast is super nice and friendly. It’s very close to the Termini station so super well located if you need to go to the airport.

Just ok for 1 night
Room is on the 4th floor but there is a tiny old elevator covered in dust to use. The room smelled musty and was dark (small window looking at a building)
Mattress was super thin, and super thin duvet. Close to train station which is why we booked it and fairly spacious. However this isn’t the part of town you’d want to stay in to enjoy Rome. We only stayed 1 night before taking train to airport.

It's close to Termini Station, so it's easy to get around. There are some homeless people around, but there are many police officers around from the morning, so it's safe. The receptionist was very kind, and the beds were made with great care, so I was able to stay comfortably. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

I've slept there before and felt good

Clean room, close to the station

These are not beds, they are harder than a box spring. A park bench would be better. At least there’d be ventilation, and it’d be way less claustrophobic. We asked for another bed or room—they gave us blankets to put under the sheets automatically—as the bed thing is a common complaint. Don’t do it, pay $50 bucks more, it’ll be the best thing you do for your body & sanity! I’m stuck here. After driving from Croatia today, then sleeping on this board—I won’t be able to walk tomorrow to enjoy the sights. The weird hostile/boarding room style of not giving you a key to your room is weird—made me want to just run down the street to a real hotel. Wish I had. Too late. RUN!

I'd like to preface this review with saying I studied hospitality business and have a bachelor's degree in the field. This review is meant to bring awareness to people like me and my fiance who are visiting Europe for the first time from the US.
My fiance and I had a terrible experience with this hotel. I'll start with the positive. The bathroom was very up to date and surprisingly nice! Shower worked well and it was very clean.
Now for the negative. If they had spent a quarter of the money that went into the bathroom in the rest of the room it wouldn't be half bad. The room itself was very small, which isn't usually an issue with my fiance and me but it was also filthy. The comforter on the bed was covered in hair and sweat marks, it looked like it hadn't been washed in months. When we went to see if we could get different blankets and the extra ones we got were even worse. We booked for 3 nights and only stayed 1. It would've been less than that if we didn't get in to Rome so late. We knew we would not get our money back and left anyways. The entire building reeks of cigarettes (including the rooms) because employees of all the businesses in the building are all smoking just outside the doors on the stairs. One thing that we didn't know about was that you have to leave your key at the front desk when you leave the building. We didn't feel comfortable leaving all of our belongings in the hands of someone we didn't know that is hopping out for a cigarette break every 2 minutes. Another problem we came across was that the internet was terrible. After finally connecting it was so slow that it took about 10 minutes to load a single web page.
The night we got in the customer service was good. We were thrown off and felt weird about the key issue but the man running the front desk was courteous and accommodating. The guy in the morning was polar opposite. We had to wait while he finished his cigarette outside the glass door we could see him through. He finally came back in and we let him know we were checking out. He found our receipt and told us we had 2 more nights left, we left him know we were checking out and wouldn't be staying the last 2 nights. He then told us we owed him 8 euro for city tax. My fiance told him there was no chance we were giving him 8 euro and without looking up he handed us our receipt and said we were all set. He didn't ask what was wrong or why we were leaving early. They do not care about what guests think and rely solely on location and people booking before understanding what they are getting themselves into. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, and if I ever hear of anyone going to Rome I will tell them to stay away. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.
Share your experiences, help others make the right choice!
Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
