Key Rome Center in Rome

This was probably one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We had ants and small flies in the room both nights we were there. Room is small. Bedsheets are thin (no real blanket given). The shower water pressure is horrible and only half the shower head had water coming out of it. We booked via third party and instructions said hotel check in before 8pm and self check in if arriving afterwards. We arrived around 9pm, called the reception person, and were received with attitude and complaints. You would be better served in a hostel than this place. Stay away unless it’s literally your only option.

We were well welcomed, however disappointing & expensive for what is offered. The pictures don’t really match, only one shelf to put away your stuff.
Rooms not at all sound proof, your neighbours seem to be in the room with you. Nevertheless it’s clean and the bed is comfortable. A lot of improvements to do for a 200 + a night. I won’t recommend for a resting get away.

I had an awful stay at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. The bed was old and extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. The furniture was cheap, worn out, and in desperate need of replacement.

The worst part was the overwhelming smell of tobacco in the room. Since the hotel allows smoking inside, everything—walls, curtains, bedding—was impregnated with the stink, and no amount of airing out helped. It made my entire stay unpleasant.

On top of that, the noise from other rooms was unbearable. I could hear full conversations through the thin walls, and the disturbances lasted until 1 or 2 AM every night. It was impossible to rest properly.

Ultimately, I left two days earlier than planned because I couldn’t take it anymore. For just a little more money, you can find a hotel that is actually comfortable and well-maintained. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

The room was ok but it was not what was advertised when we booked. The kettle was coated in limescale, the fridge was mouldy, there was rubbish that had been left over from previous guests on top of the shower door that hadn't been cleaned away. The shower pressure was hit and miss and would take ages to heat through.

Location was convenient for getting to attractions. Amazing deli just down the road where they did lovely bread and cold cuts.

Room had A/C which was handy for at night. The bed was a good size but bed runner was a bit grubby.
