Monti First in Rome

Excellent location as it is near everywhere. Knowing that you need to get ready with your steps around Rome, it is not bad walk from Termini station, just be mindful that bringing luggage and just walking from station to hotel is quite a challenge with the pavements being cobble stones and all. Easy to find using google maps as long as you read the hotel’s email reminder prior to your arrival to guide you with a photo of which door to enter. Reception in floor 3, stayed in 1st floor, more than happy to experience the old style lift, which had no problems in our entire stay. Be reminded to pay for city tax which is per person per night on your check in, this is not included in your package. So pleased to have joined some BZAR exp which gave us insights about Rome and tiramisu exp. Loved the free carbonara from nearby restaurant. Room is exceptional for its price, decent space and pristine clean, they change towels and clean regularly. Requested water heater and flat iron were provided. Bit of free breakfast for all guests in the morning. Just bring your own toiletries although some hand soap and shampoo was provided. Loved everything about this hotel will definitely recommend.

Had a great stay at Monti First hotel in Rome. It has an excellent location in a good neighborhood-ten minute walk to the Colleseum, Trevi Fountain, all kinds of fine restaurants within walking distance. The hotel offers a 10€ breakfast  buffet at a sister hotel five minutes away. The food is excellent. The hotel  and rooms are clean with an excellent cleaning lady, Lilia, who always has a smile for her guests. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are spacious. The receptionist, Martina, is friendly and helpful. She speaks excellent English and will arrange free tours, bicycle and car rentals, and airport and cruise port transportation on request. She will also show guests the best way to get to tourist sites. All in all, if you want a basic, clean room, Monti First will fill the bill at a reasonable price in an expensive city.  

Monti First is a very well located hotel for exploring Rome, a short walk from exploring the main sites like the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. The hotel staff were friendly, upbeat and helpful. The room was great. There is a small breakfast provided at Monti First which usually consisted of a pastry or cake slice and a fruit juice. For €10 you can walk a few minutes to a sister hotel for a larger continental hotel, which was a good option we used for a couple of our busier days.

The hotel was always clean, and near the city, and within walking distance of almost every tourist attractions, and those that are not within walking distance, there is a metro station near the hotel, so we can visit it. The staff, and especially Sara, the receptionist, was the most helpful. She spoke English with us, gave us maps of the city, with every tourist attraction circled so we can visit it. She explained everything, and hooked us up with a free tour guide, who showed us around historic monuments, with perfect English. 100% would recommend this hotel.

I visited Rome for 3 nights and booked myself to stay here on a solo trip and the place was perfect. The location of Monti First was amazing as it was within walking distance of all the sites I wanted to see. They also offer free experiences which I didn't manage to look into as I already had plans while I was there. Communication between the hotel and me was great as I first struggled to find it however they messaged me through Whatsapp to guide me there. One member of staff that was a big help was Elisa. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who's visiting Rome.

I will definitely go back to this tourist residence in an ancient building, all in one with the Eliseo Theatre. Extraordinarily well located halfway between the very city centre and Termini Railway station, both at walkable distance. There is no "hotel" sign outside the big wooden portal (you must search the intercom's menu for the hotel reception ring). You will also have to share stairs and the vintage lift with lawyers, notaries and the theatre administration, who have their offices in the building. Moreover, the reception is on the third floor. Apart from such an unusual (not that unusual in Italy) arrangement, you will find lovely, comfortable and fully equipped rooms with private bathrooms and all the comforts (heating, air conditioning, safe, coffee machine). Moreover, the staff is splendidly nice and helpful. Reception is not open at night: call in advance or refer to their associated hotel nearby (you will receive instructions with your reservation).

This place has been absolutely superb. The location is imposible to beat, it is right in the center of the best sights in rome, a 5 minute walk to the Trevi fountain, 5 minute walk to the Colosseum, every Cafe, Restaurant, Bar you could hope for is just around the corner and the staff are wonderful. Shout out to Lorena and Enzo the manager, they were both so accommodating and helpful and we are so grateful to them. We would definitely stay here again.

Located down a quiet side road in a central location! 10 minute walk to both the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain! Staff are really nice & helpful, they even sort your transfers. Cosy little rooms. Perfect for a short stay in Rome! 100% Recommend! We will definitely be returning!!

Spent there 4 nights. Very good location, 10-15 mins on foot to romes top atractions, bus stop circa 60 meters, less than a mile to Termini Station. Room very clean, towels and soap provided. Quiet neighborhood, very flexi with arrivals and check in time.

For starters we love Rome, and the stay at the hotel was the complement. Beautiful hotel, excellent service, close to everything. We love everything we hope to return! 💖
