The staff they did have were great but the problem is there are often no staff working or after 1pm the reception is via whatsapp chat only, and often you just have to deal with the AI chatbot instead of real staff.
Bedside tables were too small to put anything on. The bed was painfully hard. The superior room was tiny. It’s too hard being this compacted as there is no where to put anything down or move. They didn’t even provide tissues. It only had one tiny window. Beware of the photography of the rooms. It looks far better than it is.
The wifi didn’t work.
Water in the hand basin was barely warm at all and had to wash our hands with cool water in winter.
When someone hadn’t closed the door properly on the elevator at a different level, the lift would not operate. You had to climb the stairs all the way up to our floor but couldn’t find it because they had the incorrect numbering on all the floors! We left after the first night. We got half a refund for the half of the booking. We stayed just before Christmas and found far better value just outside the old town. The one thing I did enjoy was watching the street gangs scamming people from the window above.

Great hotel for a nice stay in Rome. Location is great and the rooms and hotel is super clean, not noisy and reflects what they promote online.

Location and price for the rooms were great if you want an authentic stay in Rome. Would definitely recommend. Only thing I would change is more space to put your stuff, like bigger nightstands and maybe some pillows that aren’t hard as brick.

Stayed for 5 nights in March

Really friendly service, location is perfectly equidistant from Colosseo, Vatican, and Termini (not to mention round the corner from the Trevi Fountain), and the room was very comfortable, with a new, efficient bathroom.

First, the location is, of course, wildly convenient. Despite being so there was no problem with any sort of discomfort in the hotel as far as noise or anything like that. The rooms were perfectly comfortable, showers magnificent, free cappuccino/espresso/coffee available all day (which same may need all day). More importantly the service from the desk to the maintenance staff was superb. Five stars.

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly, you can store your luggage, but it is very noisy near the scenic area.

The room is quite Italian and Roman, very artistic and historical. There are paintings on the wall. The decoration is also very attentive. The hotel staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. I booked it because the emails and WhatsApp replies were so fast. Hahahaha. The bathroom is also quite big. There is also a delicious pizza restaurant and cafe downstairs. The only drawback may be that the location is a little hard to find because the storefront is relatively small. There is a bar downstairs, which may be a bit noisy at night.

Incredible boutique hotel. The check-in was personalized and friendly. The staff are helpful and cheerful. I love the common area. I love the classic style of this hotel. It is clean and elegant and very close (and walkable) to major historical locations. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the perfect stay while in Rome.
