Reviews
It's one of my absolute favorite hotels that I've ever been to. Views overlooking the Largo di Argentina are unique, and the varieties of options available in the mini fridge was unmatchable. The people in the reception were all friendly and helpful.
Would love to stay here again on my next visit to Rome.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect stay – highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location couldn’t be better – just a few minutes’ walk from all the major sights and attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed.
The breakfast arrangement served directly in the room was particularly convenient when traveling with children. Everything was clean, and thoughtfully organized.
We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
When we got to the room, the amenities were good and we were given a bottle of wine. However, the fridge in the room didn’t work (hot) which wouldn’t have been an issue it was just to keep our stuff cold but the main reason we booked the hotel was for the food and drink offerings after a long flight - the meat, cheese and cold cuts were inedible.
Additionally and most egregiously, the bathroom (with 2 steps leading to it) had no mats. As a result, I slipped down both steps after getting out of the shower. This was the first night of our honeymoon and I’ve been dealing with the consequences ever since (minor fracture in my foot, severe bruising and pain).
We only stayed one night at Hotel Barrett and while it was a nice location, we wouldn’t stay there again.
Stay was pleasant! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Location was also great!
An excellent window blocked out all noise when closed; and we the street with the bus stops, etc.
This hotel is for those who enjoy exploring. It is modern, but it is not Americanized. There's no elevator, and the bathroom, while having excellent water pressure and being very pretty, has a small shower and few places to set toiletries. If you want a Hilton look elsewhere. If you have an open mind and want to have an awesome time, stay here!!!
There are about 40 stairs to get up to the hotel. Then we had another 10-15 to get to the room. Way too many for the oldest of our group.
The room was super tiny, we could only walk one at a time from the bed to the bathroom. There was no space for our luggage, except under the bed.
After one night we left due to the tiny room and all the stairs.
Staying at Hotel Barrett was truly a unique experience. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from Rome’s top attractions, amazing restaurants, and public transportation. The complimentary breakfast and all-day snacks were a wonderful touch. After long days exploring the city, the in-room massage chair was a game changer—it helped us relax and reenergize for the next day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury in the heart of Rome
