The hotel is situated in a quiet and privileged position on the Peninsula of Sestri Levante. It offers panoramic views, including the beautiful large Park. On the enchanting terraces of the castle is a delightful restaurant serving international and local cuisine and specialises in seafood. The spacious rooms are decorated in an elegant classical style. The hotel offers easy access to the town centre, the promenade and the harbour by a private lift. The perfect choice for a relaxing break.

Located on the Peninsula of Sestri Levante, 59 km from Genoa airport.

Consists of one 4-storey building.

The hotel has 48 rooms.

Beach: public sandy beach, 100 m from the hotel (1st coastal line). Between the hotel and the beach road runs. Sun beds, umbrellas - for a fee. The length of the beach 1.5 km away.

The worst possible hotel management has taken over. The location and hotel are beautiful and we used to like the hotel but under the new management it is no longer a pleasant place to stay. As a case in business studies it is interesting to see how the new owner mismanages a place that used to be very much OK. Particularly funny is her private table at breakfast that guests cannot sit at even when free. Staff suffers under micromanagement and strange rules and regulations. Other reviews on Booking and elsewhere provide ample examples. Best to avoid until management changes.

Amazing setting with a private beach, a beautiful building which has been very tastefully restored to preserve its 1920s grandeur (fortunately they have kept all the beautiful original doors and windows with their brass handles). The restaurant and bar offered wonderful drinks and food (I have never drunk a daiquiry so expertly mixed!). The staff at the hotel are all trained to extremely high standards of etiquette and knowledge, which is rare to find these days, as it requires considerable investment. The best example is how the staff very kindly sent me my electric toothbrush (which I had accidentally left in the hotel) back to my home address, successfully battling against the bureaucracy of the Italian postal service - truly gold star service!

We were staying in Sestri Levante and fancied a walk up to this hotel for pre-dinner cocktails. The outdoor bar seating area is very small and trees block the views! There’s only one table that has a decent view of the bay. The Barman was very slow to serve us and I ordered a Gin Martini and my husband a (small) bottled beer. My Martini was so badly presented, served in a wine glass (not chilled), no lemon twist or olive and very small! The barman offered a dish of complimentary sweet almonds and when they (finally) arrived they were soft not roasted and soft, tasted like almonds you’d buy in a supermarket for cooking - ugh. The bill was €30 - not value for money. There’s a great bar in town Cafe Central where the barman serves great Martinis for €8. Enough said.

We spent two beautiful days in this authentic hotel with an ancient palace style. High ceilings, very quiet, excellent breakfast with lots of choice (fruit / pastries and eggs). The view on the port is wonderful and very poetic. A luxurious park leads you to the private pool which is agreable protected part of the sea. The hosts are very kind too. Must go!

I hope nobody would have the pleasure of meeting the lady owner, so aggressive and without politeness limits. She is fortunate, because the location is so exceptional, that not even her can ruin it too much. Book the room in the web or compare prizes (platforms, web page, calling hotel) before doing the reservation.

We ate here twice simply superb. The club sandwich on our first visit was the best ever and a la carte for our second visit was sumptuous. The staff were so professional and friendly with any request fully met with a smile. The food was exceptionally well prepared and such high quality. A must visit when in Sestri Levante and I must mention the stunning views over the town and port.

Wow!! I spent 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. It was an excellent choice made by my travel agent, Tasos, fromTravel12. Very close to Cinque Terre. Great transportation. Signora Pellegrino, the owner made me feel at home. We spoke a lot. I only know 3 phrases in Italian, but with the help of the staff, we had wonderful conversations. She made my stay memorable. Marco saved me one day. Was stranded at the train station. He came and got me, when contacted by Travel12. lol. Stephanie and Nicola at the front desk had a ready smile when I got back from my adventures. And last but not least,Pietro, the bartender. We talked nightly about my meal and he made a special cocktail that complimented my likes and the meal that I was having. Definitely a highlight. Grazie!!!!! To everyone. Hope to see you soon.

Beach area are limited due to a collapse of the bridge. you only have the opportunity to use the sunbeds that are connected to the natural pool in the innermost part, not out on the rock towards the sea. Also be aware that it costs extra to use the pool area, this is not included in the hotel price.

The breakfast is very good with friendly staff. A bit weird that guests can reserve the best tables without even showing up… this was a bit frustrating. No reward for early birds.
