Hotel Lenno

Beautiful hotel and fabulous location. Ferry a hop skip n jump away. Not noisy at all. Restaurant was lovely and breakfast delightful. Staff were so attentive and helpful. Pool in the sun and plenty of umbrellas if needed. Outlook from lake window view well worth the extra if you can. Just such a gorgeous hotel and location I’d love to go back.

The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and there is good a/c. Staff are extremely thoughtful and kind. Front desk helps with arranging transportation by taxi which is very helpful (they kindly ask for 24 hour notice). The ferry station/drop off point for Lenno is right in front of the hotel and was a nice surprise. The hotel bar has a good selection of drinks at a reasonable price and the hotel restaurant (Ristorante Giglio) has great food. There are multiple other restaurants, local grocers, patisseries, and wine shops within walking distance. Being able to walk to the Villa del Balbianello is added perk (buy tickets in advance). Lenno seemed like an ideal town to stay as it's not as crowded as other towns like Bellagio but is situated in a perfect location to travel to other nearby towns for a day trip. Overall, Albergo (hotel) Lenno was a great place to stay and I could not recommend it more highly.

First, the hotel is perfectly located. Could see the lake from our room and the ferry being across the street is a big bonus! I’m glad we opted to stay in Lenno over the other “popular” towns. This hotel is clean, beautiful, HAS AC, and the breakfast was great! Would happily stay again and highly recommend!

It was a great experience for my husband and me. We stayed one night. Frankly, the price of the hotel is really worth the location, service and facilities. There is a public sea bus stop right in front of the hotel. It stops at many popular spots. The hotel's pool is very nice. The people at the reception are very attentive and helpful. I really love the Italian people! By the way, there was enough variety in the hotel's breakfast. We stayed in the attic. Our room was very clean and neat! pets are allowed. We stayed with our dog and paid 24 euros. It was not bad. Everyone loved our dog! You should definitely make a parking reservation before you go.

We only ate lunch here, but the service was great. Later that day, on our way back to the ferry, we needed to use a restroom and the hotel staff were very welcoming. I’d definitely eat here again if we ever come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views of the lake in a relatively quiet section, convenient location. The staff are very helpful, breakfast is wonderful, the restaurant is mediocre. Prices are appropriate

I stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful hotel. All the staff have been truly friendly. The room and the food were excellent, plus everywhere was clean.
The hotel can be reached by bus or boat directly outside and is in walking distance of an iconic movie location.
Thanks to the location of the hotel, you can enjoy a peaceful stay and see plenty of other places. I highly recommend using the boat services to see Bellagio.
The sounds of water, birds and the smell of flowers are all wonderful. You will never forget this place.
I would like to also recommend a local ice cream shop, just at the end of the street. You will never have such good ice cream anywhere else.
Also, go visit the gardens at Villa Carlotta in the nearby town of Tremezzo.
Lake Como is iconic and its status is well deserved. I would happily return here in the future.

We stayed at Albergo Lenno in April. Hands down the best service we have received in a hotel. The staff was very friendly and the hotel owner personally engaged when we had a dental emergency. If you are visiting the restaurant, you must try the asparagus risotto. The rooms are generously sized and squeaky clean with spacious class showers that are a delight. The beds have very comfortable mattresses and the outside noise of a waterfall running down the hill is a very pleasant relaxing backdrop.

Great hotel great place

we had a great stay! we have a toddler and weren't the easiest customers. but the staff was amazing and doesn't know the word "no".
