He refused to give us a table for dinner and simply turned us away.
Other people arrived right after us, and he immediately reserved a table for them (they were told to wait only a moment).
We didn't eat anything that day.
I want to tell you that we had an unpleasant situation at first. So we were put in the last room in the hotel, where there was a building on the left and Como was not visible (from the Bellagio side), but I booked a room with a 180ʼ view. I went to the reception and wanted to change our room, explained that this was not quite what we expected, and that we booked this hotel only for the view of the lake. In the end, the hotel made concessions to us and gave us the best room, which we had not even dreamed of. Service 100/10! Thank you for your hospitality.
Tremezzo is so much more chill than Varenna ( the worst ) and Bellagio. Just that it is a bit harder to reach here if you don't drive.
