The surroundings are incredibly beautiful.
The service is very friendly. It’s a very peaceful place where you can really calm down and relax.
The pool is very small and as there was a large amount of wasps I was scared to go in.
The inside is tasteful but the rooms do not quite reflect the outdoors. The bathroom needs updating and a balcony would be nice.

Borgo il mezzanino is a luxury hotel located right among fields and olive trees. Rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel offers a fantastic breakfast produced with local, fresh products. It also offers a restaurant for diner. The hotel also produces local products incl. olive oil, wines, honey and their own spirits and limoncello. Staff is fun and very kind and helpful. The hotel is quite close to Salò and Verona. We had a brilliant stay.

Several stays at this beautiful Borgo. Still great experience with honest hospitality. We will be back again. Dinners at the fireplace are wonderful. Food menu is limited but well prepared. Friendly staff and pet friendly. Out Jacks love this Borgo.

A big thank you to Cinzia and all of the staff at Borgo Mezzanino. We rented out the whole villa for our guests to stay at for our wedding on Lake Garda. My bridal party and I got ready there on the wedding morning and the staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating – They even opened up a different, larger room for the hair and makeup artists to set up in. All of our guests are raving about how beautiful the Villa is and my pre wedding photos are absolutely breathtaking. What a beautiful, stunning venue. Thanks to the team again for such an incredible experience. We hope to be back again one day!!

BIG THANKS AND LOVE!

From the moment we arrived on a rainy event until our morning departure, the attentive and responsive staff made each moment count. Hard to say this often, as service has become either lazy or pretentious— this hotel has managed to create a kind, personal and professional team that work together cheerfully and take their charming location to the next level! The views are incredible and each space, both indoor/outdoor is clean, creative and inviting! Dinner was simple, delicious, and great value—so refreshing to have a clean, fresh menu without distracting bells and whistles! Each bite was memorable. Breakfast was delightful, one of the best I’ve had in a very long time— made even better by the lovely young woman who took care of us! Don’t miss this gem over looking Lake Garda and take time to explore the local area as well!

The experience starts right away by being greeted on several occasions in German, sadly a bit symptomatic of southern areas in Lake Garda.
1. We’re not Germans
2. We’re in Italy

We paid 225€ a night with a discount fee, our empathy goes to clients who paid plain price.

Let’s be honest, the environment where the hotel is located is beautiful, the garden is perfectly well curated, we wish the same effort was put into the rooms.

The walls are super thin, you can hear your neighbours as if you were staying in a cheap hotel along a highway. The mattresses are perhaps the most outrageous.
Inconsistent to the point where you either end up having your feet outside the bed sheets and your back hurts in the morning because you basically end up digging a whole in it.

We had ants in the sheets and the bathroom was borderline clean.
Water flow from the shower is not constant, so you have to be patient.
Cherry on the cake, the cleaning lady left a wet towel on my pullover! Bravo.

You have to write down what you will have for breakfast the next morning. I get the idea, but we’re paying 225€ a night, continental buffet is the standard. Congratulations to the man doing the job (almost) alone, super friendly and professional.

They display lots of activities and amenities but the pool is 4,5 square meters and the spa is a whopping 95€ extra, only under reservation!
Not to mention that we had to look ourselves for these activities, nothing except the spa was mentioned when checking in.

We manifested our discontent the first day, but did not receive any kind of support except a suggestion to book the suite, for 500€ a night (HA! No way).

You’ve guessed it, quality/price ratio is definitely not at the rendez-vous. We felt robbed. Do not recommend, won’t be back anytime soon.

Borgo il Mezzanino is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. Our adult family enjoyed one of the most relaxed and superbly catered for holidays ever. The setting is breathtaking. The staff are superb and the attention to detail is first rate. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully presented. The food was always first rate and so nicely presented. We would recommend this agri tourism place to anyone who has a love for the Italian countryside and historical charm.

One of the most beautiful places and hotels I have ever been! The villa looks great and the interior is very tastefully decorated. The breakfast was excellent! The green areas are great and the view of Lake Garda is incomparable. The service was very nice. The rooms very clean. Small point of criticism: extra payment for whirlpool and sauna. In general, the hotel is very dog-friendly, we will be happy to come back! Grazie Mille

What an incredible place! We loved our stay! The breakfast was scrumptious, and they brought to you what you ordered.

The grounds are impeccable ! The pool is tiny but it was crazy fun for a four year old.

The rooms are tastefully decorated, and the sheets were super soft!

It’s an Italian charm you usually see portrayed in the movies!

Thank you staff and owners for a lovely experience!
