Not a great hotel. Pretty old, with a small and limited breakfast buffet. On their website they have written the parking is free but it is not! They asked me €8 for one night. Having stayed at the Locanda before, I am very happy to report that my second time around was just as good. Perfect location for exploring Piemonte with amazing views from each of the rooms. Very important. I could not stay at the property and had to go to a different hotel. My cell phone was not working in Italy and long distance calls would have been too expensive. Also as a university prof on an intensive research schedule their hours were impossible for me. Yet i was working in the archivio di stato right near this hotel! In short a disaster for me!
