Hotel convenient to the clinic CELLINI 5-minute walk away. A bit' retro', the carpet in the hallway a bit stained, and parking is only 2 to 3 seats a little uncomfortable, the room on the 3rd floor with no possibility to open the window.

Beautiful, modern hotel with all the comforts, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. The room is spacious and reasonably soundproofed. A basic breakfast with both sweet and savory options is available. The staff is super friendly and efficient.

Very nice location overlooking the lake , room is little old but the price is fair. The restaurant is the gem here , very fresh ingredients with excellent cooking. Great location, relatively close to Arona and Meina. Our room was not facing teh lake and was an average room, however clean and comfortable. Breakfast good, but nothing special. Maybe the owner could be a bit more warm and caring about guests. A smile never hurts.

Stresa and Lake Maggiore are not to be missed. The Moderno makes a good base. I suggest you ask about the rooms before selecting, as the hotel encompasses several buildings and the rooms vary. The Hotel is a good value for the price, but it is ageing and somewhat dated. We like firm mattresses and our room had the firmest mattress ever!

I stayed in the hotel during my solo 2 days travel to Turin in 2021. I had challenges to get early checkin even when i had early checkin confirmed in advance. Rest was a comfortable stay. Clean, huge room and washroom. Breakfast for ok since i am a vegetarian. Could only eat fruits, bread. It was a budget friendly and worth for money options.

I was visiting the Lago Maggiore Area with a group of people, we stayed at this hotel, and it was the best choice. The Hotel is facing the lake, the service was excellent and the staff are very friendly. The Breakfast offered was nice and has a variety which made everyone happy with their choice. The restaurant next door is a plus for a good Italian food experience.

T he staff was extremely hospitable and helpful. It was nice that the towels were on a heated rack but that made the bathroom and room warmer needed to be. Would have liked more towels: Only 1 large towel was actually absorbent and the others were 2 linen cloth type hand towels that were not.

What are charming hotel and great location. We loved the welcome by the staff who were excellent and who looked after us and remembered us all throughout our state and also you have to love all the furniture and antiques placed all around the hotel.
