Villa Santa Barbara in Cefalu

Convenient location,large balcony with elevated sea views.
Very clean.friendly staff.They looked after us very well.would highly recommend this villa.Its quiet,only a dozen rooms or so.
Slight hillwalking back from Cefalu which we liked for exercise.15 min from beach.
Pool was spotless.gardens kept well.
Very secure.Fully equipped gym 1 min away."body planet".€25 for 5 visits.

we got room 5 because we had 2 kids. nice room although the low ceiling over the sofa bed took its toll on all our heads. there are no soap, shampoo etc nor is there anything in the fridge. no tea or coffee either which would have been very welcome. however the entry floor has a ping pong table a soccer table and some games for kids. the pool is very nice though extremely deep so take care with kids. the view is amazing. there is also a washing machine. the room has a very nice balcony again with the great views. quiet location but unless you feel like hiking a car is recommended.

From the moment we arrived laura was great with the check in,it was late in evening and nothing was to much trouble and gave us tour and info.the apartment was great,everything we needed.our requests were done straight away..the pool was faublous and the views unbelievable.we had a great stay and would reccomend it.

Lovely apartment with views over the sea from the balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool and gardens very peaceful and well kept. Walk into town (we never managed to get the bus) a bit of a chore in hot weather but not an issue for us. Adult daughter found her bed uncomfortable but we were happy with our double. Lots of storage space. Only real issue is that without a car we were unable to get to a decent supermarket and had to rely on a limited range of products from a small supermarket near the beach. However the onsite bar was helpful in supplying water, croissants, drinks and snacks.

A wonderful place to stay. Lovely appartment . The views are spectacular . The pool and garden are delightful . On reception both Tatiana and Laura are brilliant. They are so helpful and friendly . A really wonderful stay .

We stayed here as a family for four nights. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff couldn't do enough for us. Reception closes at 8pm and as our flight was delayed, we arrived closer to.8.30pm but Laura stayed and waited for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The apartment was basic but very clean and the view each morning is just stunning. The entire property is spotless and our kids loved the pool. The breakfast each morning was perfect, with great coffee. The location is also ideal - approximately a 20 min walk to beach / centre. Cefalu is a beautiful town with lots to do and excellent food but very busy. We stayed in late May and it was already quite full. I would definitely return but maybe not in July /August.

Very spacious apartment. Big enough to live in. Beautiful balcony with incredible view over the sea. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Lovely pool in the garden area with views to the sea. It is a bit of a trek up and down the hill but once you find the short cut past the green railings it is not so bad and helps burn off some calories. Best of all is Laura and Giusy who are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. Laura helped me find an osteopath when I suffered with a back problem and ordered pizzas when I was unable to walk as far as the restaurants. Giusy was very understanding with us needing to use the facilities a bit longer on check out day because I was in too much pain to get in the car. Both girls are a massive asset to the Villa and give top class service. Oh, and Laura make the best Spritz in Scicily too.
