Quiete Taormina Naxos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Giardini-Naxos

We were extremely disappointed with our stay, particularly given this hotel is marketed as a newly renovated 5-star Hilton. We booked a Taormina King Terrace Room through the Hilton website, where the photographs showed the newly renovated rooms. After travelling for 13+ hours due to the issues with Mount Etna, we arrived late on Saturday evening, only to find our room looked completely different from the photographs. It had dated wallpaper, broken plug sockets and mouldy bathroom silicone. The corridors were also tired, with stained and faded carpets. Reception explained that the hotel has two buildings, Taormina and Naxos, and that both had supposedly been renovated in different styles. However, we later found photographs of the hotel under its previous name showing our exact room in essentially the same condition, with the only obvious change being a new bed. It certainly did not feel newly renovated. We complained and, thankfully, the manager was very helpful and moved us to a room in the Naxos building with a complimentary upgrade. This room was much better and did resemble the photographs online, although the bathroom still clearly hadn’t been renovated properly — patched holes in the tiles, discoloured grout and silicone, a rusty shower head and a broken spotlight. Unfortunately, there were other issues too. Breakfast was average, with the same selection every day and items frequently running out. The pool areas lacked atmosphere, and when we used the third-floor pool, the bar was closed and part of the pool had visible green algae. The women’s pool bathroom was also dirty, with a blocked sink, no toilet paper and no hand soap. The location is fairly isolated and the surrounding beachfront area is run down. Taxis are very expensive and Uber isn’t particularly reliable. We found the bus into Taormina followed by a taxi back to be the easiest option. There were some positives: the staff were friendly, the manager dealt with our complaint well, beach towels were provided and the bed was comfortable. However, overall we felt misled by the Hilton branding, the 5-star rating and, most importantly, the claim that the hotel has been newly renovated. The room we were initially given did not match the photographs used to sell it. The hotel needs to update its photographs and be much more transparent about the condition of the different rooms/buildings. Sadly, based on our experience, we would not recommend this hotel and certainly would not consider it 5-star.

The hotel was very clean and esthetic Tiziano the waiter in the pool area was very kind and the margaritas were amazing, 100% would recommend

If you're on the fence about booking this hotel, don't be, and book it immediately after reading this review! I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels over the years, but this is actually the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to write a Tripadvisor review — Quiete Taormina Naxos really was that good. The hotel still feels incredibly new, and everything from the public areas to our room was immaculate. We were lucky enough to receive a complimentary upgrade on arrival, and our room was spacious, beautifully presented and absolutely spotless. Housekeeping was also exceptional — on occasions our room was serviced twice in the same day, which was a lovely touch. The staff deserve a special mention. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly, helpful and genuinely seemed to want us to have a great stay. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Breakfast was another highlight, with a fantastic selection of fresh, delicious food and plenty of Sicilian touches. It was the perfect way to start the day. And then, just when we thought the hotel couldn't get any better, we discovered the brand-new private Isola Beach Club, exclusively available to hotel guests and just a five-minute walk away. We were fortunate enough to experience it during its very first days of opening in August 2026. It was absolutely beautiful — right on the water, incredibly peaceful and, at the time of our stay, felt almost like our own private beach club. For us, Quiete Taormina Naxos was the perfect combination of modern luxury, genuinely warm service and a fantastic location for exploring Taormina and the surrounding area. We honestly couldn't fault our stay and would return without hesitation. If you're considering booking, do it. We couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough

Perfect new opened Hilton hotel to visit Taormina. Hotel has big swimming pools, exceptionally nice garden (must to see), and 5 minutes early beach club.

Hotel was beautiful. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 pools were closed , which we didn't know until after we booked and on the last night the room above us was very noisy.

A lovely experience in the area of Taormina, with a stay in the new renovated hotel Quiete Taormina Naxos, part of Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The hotel offers a excellent location close to the Porta Catania Access to Taormina Center and 5 min walk to the sea access to Giardini beaches. The hotel is a 5 star with most of the portions of the hotel completely renovated. Pools are big and with warm. the solarium areas are excellent to spend part of the day relaxing with a book or a drink. We stayed in a room with view to the sea, completely renovated, with size and quality of a 5 star hotel. The staff was nice and friendly, and very professional. The breakfast and the dinner offered us a nice and pleasant atmosphere, with a variety of local food of the Sicilian tradition. The hotel appears to be fully renovated, with most of the common areas fully new and with a nice classic appearence and style.

We had a wonderful stay at Quiete Tapestry Taormina. The hotel is beautifully renovated, the rooms are modern and comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was excellent, and the location is ideal for exploring Taormina and the surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional Reopening! A True Gem with World-Class Service. We were blown away by our experience at this newly reopened property. The transformation is magnificent: the rooms are brand new, beautifully appointed, and the overall facilities are pristine. The hotel boasts magnificent open-air spaces, featuring stunning swimming pools and elegant solariums where you can unwind in complete tranquility. Food lovers will be spoiled for choice with an impressive array of dining options. We particularly loved spending our evenings discovering their excellent wine selection. A special shoutout to the staff-the waiters were exceptionally courteous, professional, and provided a warm, welcoming service that made us feel pampered throughout our entire stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Taormina Naxos area!

Good Hotel just reopened. New rooms and facilities. Great swimming pools and solariums . Very good service and many food and beverages choices.

We had a wonderful stay at Quiete Hotel by Hilton during our honeymoon. This was a last minute booking, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.

The hotel is brand new, beautifully designed, and maintained to an exceptional standard. Located in a peaceful neighbourhood, it offered the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. It is only a 15-minute bus ride from Taormina and just a 5-minute walk to the beach, making it an ideal base for exploring the area while enjoying a quieter atmosphere.
