What an unexpected find in Florence! Due to a mishap with a reservation at another property, I needed to quickly book rooms at another hotel, and Corte Calzaiuoli turned out to be an absolute gem (and cost less)! It's in a fabulous location, the room was spacious, clean and well-appointed, and the staff was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and the coffee was hot and strong! Also honestly if there was a way for me to get the bed in my suitcase I would have brought it home, as it was like sleeping on a cloud! Just a wonderful experience on every level.

Amazing location better is impossible The best staff. From the moment I called, Regina and Martina were incredibly helpful in making my trip to Florence amazing. My arrival was wonderful; they helped me with everything I needed. The breakfast staff was also incredible, the rooms were extraordinary, and the quality of the sheets and towels was excellent. I don't know how they managed to hire such an amazing staff.

PERFETTO! We stayed at Corte Calzaiuoli in October, our first time to Florence. It was an excellent experience, with very friendly and hardworking staff, beautifully appointed rooms, and a stellar central location. It was worth every penny! Location can't be beat - it's a busy neighborhood, right in the middle of everything, surrounded by high end shopping and restaurants, and within a 10-15 minute walk of major attractions. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and the Uffizi museum. Staff is very helpful and friendly - They made restaurant reservations for us, arranged a cab to the airport, and stored our bags when we arrived early. Cleaning crew was prompt and efficient. The breakfast staff were welcoming and generous, bringing us new things to try when they were freshly made and made excellent cappuccino! The included breakfast was delicious and fresh, and It opened promptly at 8AM every day. It consisted mostly of freshly made pastries, and some protein options like eggs, yogurt and salmon. There were some "premium" options available for extra charge, which we thought was a little odd, but we never felt the need to try that, the regular fare was delicious and plenty. Accommodations throughout are elegantly decorated, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. Herringbone hardwood floors, marble in the bathrooms, trompe l'oeil on the walls and ceiling and luxurious linens on the bed. The shower stayed hot and had great pressure. There was an "honor system" mini bar that was useful and not dramatically overpriced, and they left us a small bottle of wine, water, and some cookies as a complimentary treat. Also, the windows keep the noise out really well. We opened the windows one morning to discover the Duomo bells had been ringing and we hadn't heard it!! Finding the "right"place to stay in Florence can be challenging. There are SO many options and reliable info can be tough to find. I research the heck out of everything, and this property was highly rated - the reviews didn't lie. It was a wonderful experience all around, we would definitely stay there again.

Great location
A lovely room and a great location! The hotel helped us with parking for the car but drivning in Firenze is nothing I recommend. The bathroom had double showers and sinks, that was great. A bit hard to understand where the hotel was located, both because there is a hotel nearby with the same name and then because the hotel is in a building but only on some floors!

Corte Calzaiuoli Elegant Suites are perfectly situated for convenience while maintaining a quiet, comfortable space to take respite during the heat of the day. When I visited Florence in June it was incredibly hot, so the location of this hotel couldn't have been more appreciated. It's a 3 minute walk to the Duomo, centrally located for all shopping and it was so easy to stop at the hotel quickly to drop off bags. The room was nicely appointed with luxury linens, plenty of pillows and shutters to completely blacken the room. The bed was very comfortable and the AC was sufficient. The hotel as a whole was very clean. The hotel has a lovely kitchen staff that makes an excellent breakfast spread each morning. They were very kind and a joy to be around to start the day. My only suggestion would be that they open slightly earlier for their excellent cappuccino. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location with a luxury feel.

The good things: location is great and the room was comfy.

The bad things:
- room noisy. Garden bar right underneath with music loud after midnight.. the staff dared to say this was a “quiet” room when we checked in. It’s everything but.
- 750 mL of water for 2 adults per day then 6EUR / bottle (of 750mL). It’s 35 degrees Celsius right now. There is no water fountain in the hotel. The staff suggested we get water outside of the hotel at 9pm.
- breakfast closes at 10.30. We came at 10 the first day, the staff told us: “we re sorry there isn’t much left, people came earlier”. We still got food but it was so weird and we had limited options.
- we arrived early (9am), the staff kindly offered to prepare our room (since the previous guests had already left) for early check-in and told us to come back before noon.
We got back at 11.15am and adjusted our plans thinking we could take a shower and rest a bit in the room. The room wasn’t ready until 12.30. It took forever to get it ready. The intention was kind the execution and the coordination appalling. We wasted our time in the breakfast room waiting…

Honestly if you just want something convenient it works. It is way below par for anything else at this price range.

Very bad experience. The place was extremely noisy with no soundproofing at all. No air conditioning in the rooms. Both rooms were right next to the kitchen and breakfast area — impossible to sleep in the morning. Rooms were tiny and uncomfortable. Only good thing was the location.
