I stayed at Velona’s Jungle Luxury Suites during my time in Florence, and honestly it felt like a hidden gem rather than a typical hotel. The moment you walk in, you notice how different it is — the décor is bold, artistic, and full of character, with a jungle theme that somehow feels both fun and elegant at the same time. Every corner looks thoughtfully designed, but it still feels cozy and welcoming rather than overdone.

The room was spacious, very clean, and incredibly comfortable. You can tell a lot of care has gone into the details — from the quality of the bedding to the little design touches that make the space feel special. What I appreciated most was the hospitality. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful, always ready with suggestions and small personal touches that made the stay feel relaxed and personal.

Despite being close to the city centre, the place felt peaceful, which was perfect after long days walking around Florence. Breakfast was fresh and simple but very well done, and it added to the boutique, home-like atmosphere.

Overall, staying at Velona’s Jungle Luxury Suites felt more like being hosted in a stylish private home than staying at a hotel. If you enjoy unique places with personality and comfort, this is definitely a memorable choice in Florence.

Our staying at Velona's was really great experience. Rooms were personally decorated, breakfast was amazing and served to our room. Personal was super friendly. Location was just perfect, near enough the old city but still quiet.

We had an INCREDIBLE stay at Velona's Jungle. Amazing staff and the prettiest rooms. Loved the "on your own" vibe of the place. The rooms were spotless, smelled great, and were so quiet. It is about a 20 minute walk into the town center but we enjoyed the nice stroll. They also gave great food recs. One of the bakery we suggested was our favorite of the entire trip and we visited multiple times. We will be recommending velona's to everyone we know!

Located in a beautiful building in Florence, this very high-standard apartment is magnificently decorated, with a very cozy atmosphere. The bedrooms are very spacious with dressing rooms and large bathrooms, and the king-size beds are of excellent quality. Breakfast is served in the room and is generous, and the staff is lovely. We spent five very pleasant nights in the center of Florence, close to the sights and restaurants. The tram stops directly in front of the building and runs directly from the airport.

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon and they were so lovely, warm and helpful. Room was fantastic, especially given the price, and the breakfast was delicious & served privately in the room - really lovely experience overall. We will definitely be back if we ever visit Florence again!

Velona’s Jungle is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail in every corner is incredible, and the breakfast was excellent. All of the staff were so warm, friendly, and welcoming, and they gave us amazing recommendations throughout our stay. It truly felt special from start to finish. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we are in Florence!

We felt very welcomed at Velona’s Jungle. The owner, Veronica, inherited this place from her grandfather and has used pieces of his collection for furnishings and decorations. The photos on the website don’t do it justice - it’s stunning IRL. It’s a great location - far enough from the tourist areas but walking distance to the attractions. Communicating with Veronica and Maryline was exceptional. They helped us with transport and recommended places for us to eat (vegan) and off the beaten path sites for us to see. Upon request, Veronica also gave us the contact information of a wonderful private tour guide (Giacomo Piccardi Tour Guide Firenze). One of the best memories is having a vegan breakfast delivered to our suite every morning and the lovely fragrance of jasmine wafting in from the opened balcony. Would highly recommend staying here for a remarkable memorable experience.
