Hotel Firenze Number Nine is a true 5-star gem in the heart of Florence. It’s just a 7-minute walk to the Duomo and about 15 minutes to Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi, and Accademia. The location is surrounded by excellent local restaurants away from the typical tourist traps.

The hotel is immaculate and the staff is incredibly warm and helpful. They really went above and beyond trying to accommodate our room preferences and ended up upgrading us. The breakfast is outstanding with delicious fresh breads, jams, and everything else on the menu. It’s the kind of quality that makes mornings special.

The amenities are exceptional. The gym is fully equipped with weight racks, bench press, free weights, barbells, and various machines, which is rare for hotels. The spa is perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.

From the breakfast spread to the in-room amenities, every detail shows real care and attention. It’s the kind of place that reminds you what a truly great hotel experience should be.

Highly recommend for anyone visiting Florence.

This is the third hotel I've stayed at during my trip to Italy. It was the hotel I had the highest expectations for, but it was also the one that fell the most short of those expectations.
First of all, it seems that the staff lack training in customer service. While the housekeeping was of a high standard, the training for the front desk staff seemed comparatively insufficient.
The layout of the Junior Suite I stayed in was also quite strange. If you happen to stay here, I recommend avoiding the Junior Suite.

Very disappointing experience — absolutely not worthy of a 5-star rating.
The room I received was not the one I booked. It didn’t match the description or photos shown on the website, and when I raised the issue, I was denied a refund or compensation. On top of that, the hotel uses unreliable third-party partners, which led to this booking issue in the first place. Yet, they take no responsibility for the mistake.
Overall, I expected much better service, honesty, and professionalism from a so-called luxury hotel. Definitely not up to 5-star standards.

The hotel room was spacious and had a nice atmosphere. The location was excellent, making it convenient to get around. All the staff were friendly, so I was very satisfied.

This hotel is an absolute gem! Staff, in particular Saeed, are super helpful. I normally only stay at larger chain hotels, but after staying at Hotel No. 9 I will look for more brands like this. The entire hotel is very well kept and elegant. The location is great, near great restaurants and shopping. Stay here when in Florence.

It's a bit different from how it used to be, but the staff are friendly and the rooms are well-cleaned. The absolute best part? The Duomo is just a 5-minute walk away, haha! Other spots are also easily accessible. The Central Station is less than 10 minutes away, and getting around to all the tourist sites is super convenient. I'm thoroughly satisfied.

This hotel doesn't live up to its five-star reputation. The location is okay (though Florence is small, so walking distance isn't all that far), but everything else is just okay. The service, in particular, is rather arrogant. They think they're a five-star hotel, so they're full of formalities. For example, they ask you to sit away during check-in and then bring it back after you're done, which actually reduces efficiency. They also knock on your door twice a day, asking if you need service, which disrupts your rest. But when I really need their service (for example, I booked a month in advance and it was 25% more expensive than the on-site rate. I thought they'd at least offer breakfast as a consolation), they're so arrogant they say, "There's nothing we can do about it. Prices fluctuate wildly, and you travelers just have to accept it!" It's really frustrating.

I don’t often write reviews but this hotel warrants one! We arrived in the hotel lobby at around midnight with our two daughters. We had no booking, but rather had walked from our previous accommodations after finding cockroaches and looking for somewhere else to stay. We were actually on our way to another hotel but stumbled upon this one and noticed it was open, looked lovely and had someone at the front desk. We entered and explained our situation. This could have been an opportunity for them to take advantage of us - but instead the gentleman at the front desk did everything to help us the best he could. He found us a suite to fit our entire family. He showed us two rooms to choose from. He left a note for the front desk manager for the next day to see about a better rate for our second night. Everything from check-in to check out was incredible. The next morning we were greeted by name. The rooms were fabulous, clean, well appointed and had every detail taken care of. The beds were comfortable. Bathroom amenities were lovely (Diptyque products). Turn down service. Everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hotel’s attention to detail was incredible. Most importantly was the service we received. I would recommend this hotel (and stay here again!)

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. The location was fantastic—right in the center of the city, with easy access to popular sights, dining, and shopping.

The reception team was very helpful, providing useful information and answering all our questions with a friendly attitude. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Overall, this hotel offered everything we needed for a comfortable, hassle-free city stay. Highly recommended!
