We had a really nice time !

Everything was perfect, the room was so pretty, we loved the decorations and the main ambiance of the hotel.
The owners are really kind and make sure you're having a good time.
They have a lot of attention for details that provide a lot of comfort.

The breakfast was... MAGIC✨ There were so many different pastries, home made marmelades, drinks, and they dont hesitate to try to fulfill special requests ( I asked for ham, cheese, hot chocolate, Cappuccino with cacao )
And the price for our nights is totally acceptable. Compared to other places we visited in Italy, we got a lot more for our money than we expected.

It was feeling like home, but better. There was a nice garden with personality due to the decorations and the ambiance music. The same goes for the room, it felt cozy like a home and not just a blank hotel room.

Thanks to the owners, this place feels like you're visiting family in a very charming house.

This really is a lovely friendly and interesting place to stay. So different to your average hotel. Massimiliano and Rita are just such friendly helpful hosts and their residence is incredibly boutique and unique. Highly recommended and great value for money.

Wonderful place, 10 out of 10 ;)
Very helpful people, the man frim tha main reception was very nice, even if we didn't ask for something, he recommended places, offered an extra parking time - just a wonderful people working there☀️ rooms and hotel itself is designed with attention to every little detail - just beautiful, breakfast was the best breakfast we had in Italy - with home-made focaccia, home-made jams, fresh cheeses to taste etc. 🫠 Domus Socolatae team is also making their own cosmetics and scents, which are truly beautiful, and the best part is that you can try it on your own skin, because the cosmetics are provided in every room. Just amazing stay, we will come back definitely. I totally recommend this place👌

Very nice charmingly decorated rooms and house. The bathrooms are all newly renovated, and everything functioned perfectly. TVs and Alexa in the rooms. A blend / marriage of old and new.
Also, lovely breakfast room.
Massimiliano, our host, was very helpful with recommendations for the area and helping us to store our bicycles in a nearby garage.
We can highly recommend this to other travellers.

Nice and clean place right in the center of Follonica. The room had a very well equipped kitchen, which for a longer stay is a plus. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good and enough. Its plus is the very good Italian cappuccino prepared every morning by the owner (Massimiliano) and the very fresh patisserie products brought each morning directly from the cafeteria situated just on the street corner. Also, we highly appreciated the homemade limoncello as welcome drink and the homemade jams at the breakfast, carefully prepared by Massimiliano's wife, Rita.

Perfect stay in the center of Follonica close to beach and many restaurants. Lovely room friendly staff and nice little breakfast. We stayed only for a nice but wished it was more. Thank you for the hospitality and hope to be back. Plus the beds are so comfy !

Cozy Place with antique furniture. A confortable room with tea boiler, microwave oven, fridge with complimentary natural and sparkling water. Located right in the center of the Town and at a 10 minutes walking from the beach. Included in the cost of the room a Rich Continental breakfast . Not to forget, a hydro massage pool in the garden! The owners , Massimiliano and Rita, are really kind and helpful. I was totally Happy and grateful. Chiara

This was a real gem. I had a single room but the bed was bigger than a regular single bed and was very comfy too. The facilities in the room were excellent and classy, including a shower that had a fine array of options and was switched on by a remote control, a first for me!
Breakfast was in a lovely room and the table settings were, again, very classy.
The host was gracious and accommodating including setting breakfast for me early on the day I left.
All in all, I recommend highly.

A welcoming and relaxing stay. Particular attention to guests in a residence from the last century, but also perfect in the details. In the center of Follonica, convenient and a stone's throw from the beach. Rich and very good breakfast. Clean rooms full of services (Amazon Echoes, air freshener, personalized soaps and creams). The owner Massimiliano is attentive to every need. Congratulations, it's not a given to find a place like this.
