This picture misrepresented the actual place that is now tired, old and with window seals that completely disfigure the glass. Interestingly the owner has written a response that blames me for honoring my reservation, saying that I didn't have to take it and he wouldn't have held back the cancellation. They were kind at the time, but his accusatory rebuttal has made realize just how right I was.

On a gloomy, rainy evening, we arrived at this remote farmhouse for dinner. The only guests due to the terrible weather, Ildi and Mara welcomed us with extreme courtesy, offering several options and providing helpful advice.
The dinner turned out to be exquisite, with expertly prepared homemade products served in generous portions. The service was attentive and very friendly. The price was very fair. An experience worth repeating!

Nice place with great hosts, relatively close to the Saturnia hot springs (By car). Comfortable bed and good breakfast. The dinner that is served at the place is very tasty, just coordinate in advance if you want.

I can't say enough about everything. Mara the hostess as well as being an excellent chef together with her daughter-in-law, and a very good and humble person. Truly exceptional. You eat divinely with excellent products and cooked with passion. I don't know when but I'll be back again and maybe again in October, a time to pick porcini mushrooms. Soon

Don't be impressed by the road to get there, it's easy and definitely worth it. A family welcome, the property a unique, affable person, an excellent chef together with his daughter-in-law. They delighted us with their cuisine, with food at Km. 0 cooked divinely and dishes more than abundant. All accompanied by a red wine worthy of every palate. The clean and spacious rooms, furnished in a spartan way but equipped with every utility. A farmhouse surrounded by greenery from which it is possible to admire the village of Montemerano at close range, which at night, all lit up, is a jewel of nature, a real nativity scene. The farm has a strategic position, only 8 km away. from the waterfalls of the mill and from the thermal baths of Saturnia. Pitigliano is very close as well as Civita di Bagnoregio and Lake Bolsena. I highly recommend it especially for the familiarity of the owners and for their cuisine. Fortunately for us, we arrived on site just at the same time that the Chef's daughter-in-law had just returned from a bite with porcini mushrooms, a basket full of porcini mushrooms with an intoxicating scent. Thank you
