Very clean, nice heritage hotel. Rooms are pretty old and need renovation but everything was very, very clean. Sheets, towels, snowwhite! Food is something that can be improved, vegetables, salad, fruit has to be part of meals...we had just pasta and meat, all three days. No fruit, no salad. Breakfast with no eggs, sausages, just few items at buffet....

We stayed for one night, we arrived after the scheduled time, but the owner Andrea was very kind and helpful. The room was small, but very clean and welcoming. The kindness of the staff and Mr. Andrea was excellent. Excellent breakfast, rich in everything, from savory to sweet. We only stayed one night, but if we had known such a welcome we would have stayed longer ☺️ in the future, if possible, we will return!

Cons:
-food was a 3/10 at best
-breakfast was inedible, the bread was so hard it slit my mother’s finger
-2/4 nights were there we were given the wrong food (either way majority of it was unseasoned and IMO gross)
-our toilet was in the shower??
-bedroom floors were covered in deep scuff marks
-I’m certain the beds had bugs as I have huge nasty bug bites all over my body that aren’t mosquito bites
-bugs all over the room and bathroom
-AC barely worked

-some of the staff were very kind and accommodating
-location is pretty good

This hotel was very clean but not suited to a single lady traveller as mostly men there for work. Breakfast was from 730 to 830 and same for dinner, quite rushed when you're on holiday so best to get room only as lovely places to eat. Well located in a quiet road but near everything. The staff were lovely and friendly but not much English spoken. Montecatini is the most beautiful place I've ever been to with trains going to Pisa, Viareggio, Luca and Florence and well worth a visit. The Tettuccio Spa was amazing and I went to two operas and a dance show in a week so a very cultural place.

The meat was bland as was the rest of the dinner. The rooms smell old, in the bathroom there is a toilet built into the shower, the packed lunch is good but the tart tastes old putrid, and above all the water tastes like chlorine and is not like that of trembling animals, travelers and people but very messy. DO NOT STAY US EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO. THE HOLL SMELLS OF ROTTING MEAT. The ham is full of red lumps like mortadella but strangely the hotel bathroom tastes like sautéing, the dessert is unclassifiable due to the fact that it tastes like everything, the fruit is non-existent and the water tastes like even the one you drink in the morning. sparkling water doesn't exist

When we arrived at our room, the room was completely dirty. We even had a pair od men's dirty underwear on a chandelier. In the bathroom towels and sanitary products were all over the place. Thankfully we got another room but there in the bathroom we had a toilet in the shower. Totally do not recommend, not even the food was great.

The room we were in was old school, not much space, old furniture, tiny TV. Room was not very clean when we arrived. Walls are thin so you can hear everything. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were bad. Bathroom shower is ridiculous and barely usable, just like the supplied towels which reminded me of kitchen rags. Breakfast and dinner were nothing special. If need something just to sleep in then it is ok but if you want to enjoy the hotel pick something else.

From the outside you could say it is a nice small "turn-de-siecle" hotel, even in the lobby it is a nice period structure. But all positives stop here.
Rooms are outdated with beaten furniture, not regullarly cleaned floors, dirty walls, terrible light fixtures, but nothing compares to bathrooms. There are no shower cabins so water splashes all around and further use of bathroom is slippery and wet for the next few hours. Towels are terrible, thin and like kitchen cloth, so they are completly useless.
Note to all, breakfast is not buffet. The staff counts number of guests and each is due one croissant and one slice of ham and cheese. They are positioned on the buffet table but it is never refilled so come early. We were told that it is "italian style breakfast", so beware.

If he participated in nightmare hotels he would definitely be one of the winners. Full of dust, two-in-one shower and bidet, poor food, thieving attendants: they have wallets with a driving license and money for a boy. I hope you never set foot there.

I was at the Hotel Savona on an educational trip with my school, and I would tell anyone about to stay there to change course immediately. Very old and not very functional rooms, heating that forced us to either die of heat or shiver from the cold, food that was very often out of date and of very low quality. The sore point is the staff: uniquely rude, not very attentive and grumpy towards class groups whose behavior is not at all annoying. Every minimal request, from water, to bread, to repairing problems in the rooms, is accompanied by dirty looks and acid and disrespectful jokes. Furthermore, the wallet of a boy in the group, left by mistake on the desk of the room (and we take it for sure), mysteriously disappeared after cleaning.
