The room had two futons on tatami mats. Perfect for what we needed. I slept better here than I have in a long time. Very close to the train station. There's a sliding glass door and a screen. We left the glass open and closed the screen all night for airflow. I would highly recommend staying.

Rooms are big and clean, equipped with a fridge and microwave. No yukatas provided. The Japanese style rooms are probably better, our bed was old and dusty.
We were not very impressed with the service since when we asked for recommendations for onsens in the area, we were told to look by ourselves on the internet. Also did not like the phone call in the room to remind us that we had to check out in 20 minutes.

Staff is humble, location is good. Property is comparatively new, room size is bigger than usual. There is a Onsen right next to this hotel. Only drawback is it is on a running road thus you hear vehicles passing by.

Near Kinugawaonsen station. Lawson is just across the train track. Air conditioner Room, very spacious, tatami. There is a microwave oven, small fridge, flat screen TV, hair dryer and a dehumidifier. The bathroom is spacious too.

It’s a humble place to stay and experience Japanese style room. The host was very helpful and tied his best to help us.
We stayed here for two nights and the host generously provide two bottles of mineral water (per day) and set our bed everyday.

Good value for the money. It's one of the cheapest properties in Nikko, but still the quality is rather good. It's clean, the stuff is extremely helpful, so I'd say it's one of the best choices to stay in Nikko. The only downside is the location, since it's like 40 minutes away by train from the Tobu-Nikko station, and the last train departs at about 10pm. But since everything's closing at around 5pm it doesn't really matter :))
