It was very cheap and had all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink options, but the time limit was tight, so we couldn't relax. However, since we already knew the time limit, if we had followed it, it was a very reasonable stay and I think it was a good hotel.

A very nice old-fashioned hotel. Although it's quite old, it's very well maintained. Located in Kinugawa, the area is also very beautiful. While the autumn leaves at Lake Chuzenji were mostly gone at this time of year, Kinugawa itself was still stunning.
Facilities: The outdoor facilities were a bit cold, but the room felt very well maintained. It had comfortable tatami mats and all the necessary amenities.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness of Japanese hotels is impeccable.
Service: Typical Japanese service, meticulous and attentive.

A wide selection of traditional food – plenty to try. Beautiful views, especially if you book a room with a river view. The onsen facilities are very basic, but the water is pleasant!
The hotel is old and in poor repair. The guests are mostly Japanese retirees. The receptionists speak almost no English.

When I arrived, the room was completely different from the one I reserved. I would have been happy if they had upgraded it as a service, but they downgraded it and said the price I had already paid remained the same and they would not refund the difference. I will never use this hotel again.

Frankly, the food at Ohruri is not to my taste, and it's old and I wouldn't even call it clean, but if you understand all of that and just want to go to the hot springs cheaply, I think it's worth it. When I stayed at Hotel Mikazuki about three months ago, it was all-inclusive and the room was nice and clean, but in the end I didn't end up eating or drinking much, and I just wanted to take a bath in the hot springs and sleep, so I decided to stay at Ohruri. If you're willing to accept it, it's fine, but if you're lured in by the low price, you'll probably regret it! I stayed in room 403, and the air conditioner was installed in the opposite direction, so it didn't work well and was a little noisy.
