Chubu region, Fujiyoshida, 5-6-1 Shin-Nishihara 🧭 Map
Getting to the hotel was super easy, a direct bus from Fujikyu, and it drops you right at the entrance. Unfortunately, the hotel's hot spring was closed during my two-day stay. However, once they understood our needs, they quickly arranged for us to use the best hot spring nearby, free of charge, which was a fantastic experience! Plus, the restaurant and rooms offer breathtaking, unobstructed views...
The location is fantastic, right next to Fuji-Q Highland and with a direct bus connection. However, the rooms are at most a 3-star standard. The hot springs were very crowded, and the lack of a self-service laundry machine was a major inconvenience. Do *not* try the buffet dinner; the quality is incredibly low, clearly catering to tour groups with simple food and limited variety, which is completely...
Very close to Fuji Q. Have access to Fujiyama Onsen next door which looks popular among local people. Can see Fuji Mt from the lift when the weather is good.
Highland Resort & Spa Hotel is at excellent location, the express bus station from Tokyo is right by the door step. Although there is a theme park next door it didn’t seem to be open or busy. I booked a room for 3 nights with Mt Fuji view. And I was lucky enough to wake up to view of Mt. Fuji for 2 days. On the day I checked out, there was heavy snow, and I couldn’t see anything out of my window. ...
I love it. Very impressive on the falicity in the room and the hotel has direct pass to Fujiyama onsen for free! They has a free bus to go around the city. I bit hard to walk to Kawaguchiko station by yourself.
We love to stay here very much. Location convenient to everywhere. Free entrance to Fuji Q which just next door. Mt. Fuji view in the dining area! And we stayed Mt. Fuji view room. For sure will revisit!

A large tourist hotel retaining the atmosphere of the 1950s to 1960s, when group trips to hot spring resorts were popular.
It enjoys considerable name recognition in the Tokai region, partly due to its commercials.
This time, I joined a group tour specifically lured by the chance to stay here.
◆Room
View of the sea, slightly toward the road side. It was on the 12th floor.
Three power outlets. No free...
The rooms are lovely and the ocean view is beautiful. There are a lot of food options for all tastes at dinner and a very fun magic show while you eat. A great experience for us as visitors from overseas
A will also give a mention to Ramayaji, who was very helpful and welcoming at the front desk. He helped us feel very comfortable and answered all of the questions we asked with kindness - a very good...
A couple will stay at the "Oceanfront Corner Room Plan" on Thursday, March 27, 2025. A long time ago, I stayed here for one night when my workplace rented it out for 1,000 people, and this is the first time I've stayed here since then. Currently, you can stay overnight on Saturdays and during busy periods (when schools are on long holidays), and the day spa seems to be operated in the same way, so...
So retro! My husband had great memories at this hotel when he was a boy, especially of the aquarium in the bath area. So we decided to take our son.
It’s so retro and they even use the original song during the evening dinner show.
The food was okay. I like that they even had self service nabe. I’ve never experienced that before in a hotel buffet service.
They set up your futon during dinner. So...
The location needs quite a walk from nearest foods and town center, nevertheless rooms are great, peninsula view is amazing! Certain things can be improved though, like dining hall for meals, esp breakfast. Use of carpets can risk smell for the long term as well
The food was very good. The only disappointing thing was that even though it was Golden Week, there were mosquitoes everywhere in the large building that had overwintered, and my child was bitten by many of them. It was a shame that he was covered in insect bites at the end of April. Mosquitoes also came into the room from the hallway when the door was opened and closed. I killed 10 of them. Also,...

The hotel is really close to the station, right between the North and South exits. When you come out, head right towards the M shopping mall. Walk a few steps along the side of the mall, and you'll find the hotel diagonally opposite the Toyota car rental. The staff were all very friendly, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was quite generous, and there's a 24-hour drink bar. The hot water for the...
Location in very close to Toyama Station.
Room is clean. They provide good breakfast.
The hotel has a great location near Toyama Station, right out of the South Exit. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant was a bit small, and the breakfast was just average.
It was a nice bussiness hotel because it was near to the station.
Good location, walking distance to Toyama station (tram, train and bus), and few shopping malls are around ! Staff are friendly and helpful . We enjoyed our 5 days stay !!
Front desk staff very friendly. He even gave us a free ride voucher for the tram.

Dormy is so amazing 🤩 Location is right outside Nagano Station, filled with many cute shops and quaint Izakayas. We loved the free night ramen which was perfect after a cold day out. Amenities are fantastic - skincare, hair wash and dormy inn pyjamas. It was a special experience when it snowed while we were in the outdoor hot spring. Plus points for walkability to Zenkoji Temple, or you can take the...
This hotel feels like a small but excellent value-for-money king, completely exceeding expectations. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the quality and taste are excellent. They also offer complimentary noodles in the evening. The hot spring water quality is superb, and after a soak, there are various popsicles and ice creams available. The massage chairs are also incredibly comfortable.
When check in time, the staff is not friendly.
Price is too expensive. Cannot keep luggage even for 1 day is the worst and inconvenience.
The good thing is the free ramen and has facitily for onsen and sauna
Arrived a bit late at night, but check-in was smooth. It's a pretty standard hotel, and the room wasn't very big. My child and my husband tried the hot spring, but it was just a typical large public bath 🫠, not a real hot spring. Perhaps I had high expectations because of the good reviews, but I found it to be just average!
As a loyal Dormy Inn guest, it's my top choice for winter trips. I stayed for three nights, and even though I was worried it might be a bit old since it's been open for a while, it wasn't at all – very clean. For about 250 per person, to get a hotel with a hot spring, sauna, ramen, and massage chairs – what more could you ask for?! You don't have to book breakfast; there's a 7-Eleven next door and...
The hotel's location is excellent, right across from JR Nagano Station. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around the station. We arrived around 2 PM and were able to check in early, which was a nice bonus! 👍 The hot springs include both indoor and outdoor baths; soaking in the outdoor one in the cold winter was especially comfortable. The breakfast selection was also quite good

The location is excellent, it’s near the train station. This would be a rather rare for the route-inn chain. They are typically not that close to a major
Train station. I like their onsen facility.
The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the tram station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel breakfast was also great, and the rooms are more spacious than typical economy hotels.
The hotel had excellent access from the station, which was very convenient. While the 'large' public bath was smaller than I had expected – more akin to a standard-sized bath – it wasn't crowded, and its compact nature actually worked out quite well.
The hotel is conveniently located right by the station. It's clean, and the communal bath is a great bonus. My only real issue was with the elevators. There are only two, and their operating system seemed quite inefficient, often leading to considerable waiting times.
While the building itself is a bit old, the room was incredibly clean, tidy, and comfortable. The housekeeping was clearly very thorough. The front desk staff wasn't overly warm or friendly, but they were very efficient and professional in their work, so I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. For the price, both the bath facilities and the meals were outstanding. I'll definitely stay here again the next...
There are so many services here that are great for families traveling with children. Kids eat breakfast for free, and it's a buffet, which is a fantastic perk! This really goes above and beyond what you'd typically expect from a business hotel. It's also a huge plus that even elementary school children are allowed to share a bed with their parents, though an additional fee applies.

Perfect location!
It’s in between of Matsumoto Station and Matsumoto Castle / Nawate Street.
The room is roughly 30% more than average tokyo hotel room size. Both of our luggages can be opened at the same time, with ample of space to walk
Great hotel with clean room and bathroom
Free ramen and ice cream
Close to train station
This is a very good hotel. It's close to the train station, close to tourist attractions, and there are many delicious restaurants nearby.
Everything was excellent. The room was spacious, clean, and very quiet. The soba and ice cream were delicious! The location is perfect—close to the train station and many city attractions. The reception staff provided great service, and I was able to leave my luggage there after checking out.
Not far from Matsumoto Station, this hotel is very new. They offer free ramen and ice cream in the evenings. You can see the snow-capped mountains from the room.
Almost flawless, except for the dim lighting and the noisy exhaust fan. The room was spacious, the bedding comfortable, and the shampoo was of good quality. The temperature was just right (no need to turn on extra heating). The decor was exquisite, there were plenty of charging outlets, and the service was attentive.

Always like to stay here. The rooms are clean and the location is great. The breakfast is also very good.

We stayed in a twin room with our three children. It was very clean and there was a large public bath, so we had a relaxing and comfortable stay. There is an affiliated parking lot and also a paid parking lot nearby. The location is good and the station is close. Breakfast was delicious! Happy hour was also great! I would like to stay here again.
No non smoking rooms, went to smoking room, it was ok, room size was ok, bathroom was small but ok. You can have a free drink downstairs at a fixed time in the evening, which is quite interesting.
I stayed here on a business trip.
They had happy hour until 8pm and offered free alcohol.

A very nice and simple hotel. Meets all my requirements, clean and tidy. Just beside the Matsumoto Station. Very convenient for first time traveller.
Perfect location in Matsumoto especially if you’re planning to visit Kamikochi! It’s close to the JR Station and literally just across the Bus Terminal. If you’re planning to take the limited bus to Kamikochi (book in advance), this hotel is the best option as the bus leaves at 5:30am. I just went down at 5:15am and crosses the street for the bus. You can also go to the castle by walking about 20 minutes...
The hotel looks old, but it doesn’t matter because the rest of the facilities are good and location is right opposite bus station which is also a plaza with food and supermarket. The hotel staff is really nice, upgraded my room from single to double room. You can purchase the castle ticket from the reception counter if you plan to go, the castle is 15min away by walking.
Within a few minutes walk from the station. Convenient with JR, bus terminal, shopping and dining choices available just next to one another. Free breakfast and drink bar available for hotel guests.
The location is unbeatable! It's just 200 meters to the right after exiting the station. Remember to book your free onsen experience at Shofukan in the evening. Although Shofukan only offers one large pool, it's more than enough, especially since the hotel provides it for free. Plus, there's complimentary coffee and drinks on the first floor. The breakfast is a bit simple, but then again, it's free
excellent location as it is 2 minutes walk to the Matsumoto train station. Bus terminal and Aplico Plaza (mall) is right across. Plenty of eateries nearby. Walking distance to many of the attractions. Free shuttle to and fro in the evening to Shoho hotel for onsen (free use). Clean rooms and decent breakfast. Highly recommend!

I checked in early and used the large public bath. There was a small window so I could enjoy the atmosphere outside while bathing, which was nice. I'd like to use it again.
The room is small but comfortable. The hotel has a bathhouse, and there is a CCTV outside the female bathhouse, which feels safe. The lobby has information about Sabae and a corner for children's books. There is free coffee and a rich breakfast. There is a convenience store opposite the hotel.
I stay in this hotel every time I go. The environment is very clean, the breakfast is very rich, and there is free freshly ground coffee in the bath. It is very considerate. There are many shops around. It is convenient for shopping. I like it very much. I will stay in this hotel again when I get off the bus

We stayed in a deluxe room in the South Wing as a family of three with an elementary school child. Great location, within walking distance to many restaurants. They have their own paid parking, which is convenient for those traveling by car. The hot spring views must be beautiful during the day, and the facilities are very complete. Overall, a great experience!
Nice small onsen hotel. Suggest to also include cold beverages at the lobby, instead of just hot ones.
extraordinary onsen experience. very nice and friendly staff. have to wear socks/ bare foot inside the hotel, giving a vibe of coming back home. hotel room isn’t too big but still acceptable.
The hotel is conveniently located at a crossroads, making it easy to get around. It's only a 5-minute walk to the bus station. They offer a hot spring bath, free ice cream, and complimentary ramen.
It was a wonderful stay in this Modern but yet a little traditional hotel. It is not fully a Ryokan but yet the whole hotel is on Tatami from lift lobby right to your room. Onsen was good as there are private and public pools available. Not forgetting serving free Ramen for supper is definitely a plus point especially in winter.

This hotel offers great value for money, even though it was slightly overpriced due to Japan's spring break. The room was quite spacious. Lovely place. Value for money. The rooms are clean, bed comfortable. Location is 8 minutes walk from the train station but you’ll have to use the underpass if you’re bringing a large luggage. Plenty of restaurants at the train station and the bus loop also starts there so very convenient. Only bad note of that there is nothing much other than a 7 Eleven in its immediate surroundings
In is very convenient location, close to the Kanazawa station, frienly staff and worth every penny
Great service, big comfy beds and very clean room. Separate bathroom and toilet. The only thing I can pick on is the room design that puts the washing basin outside as it takes away quite some usable space for the luggage when the room itself is quite spacious. We had two 55-65cm suitcases but still struggled slightly to get space for both.
It's genuinely very close to Kinshicho Station. The room was a bit small, but having a 7-Eleven downstairs was convenient for buying things. The hotel has a large public bath, which was nice for a soak. The front desk staff were very friendly. I'd definitely stay here again next time.

The staff at front desk were fantastic, always smiling and proactive too! The room is a littler dated but more than comfortable for the night. Amenities at lobby were good enough to get by too, PJs provided at each room floor.
