Hakone Kogen Hotel is perfect for those looking to unwind in a peaceful natural setting. Surrounded by greenery, the atmosphere was calm and refreshing, making it a great escape from the busy city. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a nice traditional touch that added to the overall experience.
One of the highlights was the onsen. The hot spring facilities were well-maintained and very relaxing, especially after a long day of exploring Hakone. The staff were polite and welcoming, providing good service throughout the stay.

I totally recommend it.
Just be aware that the onsens are naked and they separate females and males. I recommend to book for a private onsen and you can be with your partner

I opted for a two-meal option and would recommend this place to everyone; I think it's quite good value for money. However, there's no shower in the room, so you have to go to the public bathhouse to shower, and then you can soak in the hot spring. If you don't like soaking in the hot spring with a group, they have private bathhouses available for booking at 3500 yen per hour. I recommend them to everyone.

The food was great and the open-air bath was the best. I will visit again. It was near the lake so the atmosphere was good and it was a quiet place so I could rest quietly.

A very local hot spring hotel. Although the facilities are old, it is cost-effective.

The hotel service is first-class, the room is large enough, clean and hygienic. It is close to the bus station and Taoyuandai Station. The dinner is also very rich. I enjoy soaking in the hot spring. The only drawback is that there is no shower room in the room. I have to go to the large bath every time.

The hotel service is pretty good. Be sure to book a package that includes dinner. This will be very convenient.

The remodeled room was cleaner than I expected. The main bath was old, but the water was warm and nice.
