Visiting Sapporo for snow festival. Great hotel, walking distance to festival, clock tower, train station and market. Very quiet which suit us well. We have great time.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. There is 1 convenience shop just beside it. The room is consider spaces in Japan. The toiletries can take from the lobby which is quite convenience. The hotel staff is friendly.

I use Go app to get to sapporo station. Sometimes just taxi to my destination. Odori park, sapporo clock tower and sapporo TV tower are within walking distance.
Breakfast are ok.

Location is extremely good - we took a bus from Chitose airport and alighted at Monterey Hotel, which is 3-5 mins walk to New Otani Inn; it is also a short walk to TV tower, Clock Tower, Odori Park (all of these within 5-10 mins). Cleanliness is good anywhere in Japan I guess haha.
Their staff can speak a little english and they used translation just to make sure they understand us correctly, effort is 100% here.
Room size is small and cozy but overall stay is comfortable~

The hotel is conveniently located nearby the train station and the rooms are comfortable. The staff was friendly and you can find many places to eat nearby. I’d recommend this hotel to any couples visiting Sapporo

The room was a bit small. The hotel promotes eco-friendliness, so there's no room cleaning for stays of two consecutive nights.

**Location:** Very convenient, close to the subway station and JR Sapporo Station, and within walking distance of Odori Park and Tanukikoji.

**Breakfast:** A wide variety of dishes, including local specialties like Hokkaido Miso Ramen and Soup Curry, plus freshly made onigiri 🍙 and omelets.

**Service:** Apart from one somewhat cold female staff member at the front desk, everyone else was quite warm and welcoming. Especially the older male restaurant staff and the front desk personnel were very enthusiastic and attentive.

This was my second stay here. The hotel facilities are all good, and this room was even a bit bigger than the last one. The surrounding area is also convenient, though it's a bit far from Sapporo Station. Since it was snowing heavily, dragging luggage was quite difficult. Also, there were suddenly a lot more people at breakfast, and we had to queue for over 15 minutes two days in a row. Aside from the distance, I'd recommend it...

From the moment you're greeted, to the front desk, and the overall architecture, everything exudes a sense of grandeur and luxury. It feels very upscale. The facilities are what you'd expect from a well-established star-rated hotel, and the location is absolutely prime, making it convenient to get anywhere. The night view from the upper floors is particularly beautiful. You can pretty much book this place without a second thought. Once again, I applaud my hotel-picking skills!
