It's a bit far from the city center, near Suizenji. The nearby Rocky Mart was great for browsing. There were a lot of things cheaper than at convenience stores. The accommodations were really old-fashioned. It was a smoking room, so there was a strong smell of cigarettes, but considering the price, I was satisfied as a solo traveler. A cosy stay in the heart of Niigata, enjoyed the comfortable bed and relaxing bathtub. Breakfast buffet featured a good spread of local typical foods.

Everything was smooth and pleasant from check-in to check-out. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning couldn’t be switched to cooling, as the hotel uses a central HVAC system that provides heating during the autumn season. Since the windows couldn’t be opened to let in cool air, the room felt a bit warm at times. Other than that, everything else was comfortable and enjoyable.

I specifically booked this hotel to catch an 8:30 AM flight. It's very close to Haneda Airport, and there's a shuttle bus every half hour. The staff were very helpful with luggage, and their service was excellent. It only takes 10 minutes to reach Terminal 3 from the hotel, which is super convenient. Plus, there are two 24-hour restaurants right across the street, so finding food is really easy.
