Very nice! The staffs are helpful!
The overall experience is good! Meal are perfect and probably the best I ever tried. Staff are polite and greet with smile. However outdoor hot spring is a bit dirty, many bugs floating on the water.
The hotel is relatively new, the service is very good and the food is also good.
The only downside is that the air conditioning in the room is not very good...
Nice food. Great location near airport!
The hotel is clean and the staff service is very good.
The garden environment is very beautiful, and each room is surrounded by a garden. It feels like there are no more than 10 rooms. The room I stayed in has a private hot spring with a wall, and you can't see inside from the outside. It's very comfortable to soak in the private hot spring. When I ate in the restaurant in the hotel on the day of check-in, the diners should be guests, but they should all...

Hamamatsu, 3285-88 Maisaka-cho Bentenjima 🧭 Map
We booked in October for our family of three, hoping to enjoy the view of Lake Hamana and explore the surrounding area at the end of the year. The weather was beautiful, the view from our hotel room window was beautiful, and the room was larger than we expected, allowing three adults to relax comfortably. We had requested parking, so we were able to easily bring our luggage in. We ended up going out...
I loved the exotic feel, but the old facilities were a bit disappointing!
The flow to check-in was poor.
Other than that, it was not a typical business hotel, but the view of Bentenjima was great for families with children.
Location of hotel is very good, next to Bentenjima Garden. Can relax by the Lake which is part of the garden. But the hotel suggested parking in the car park of the garden which will be charged 410 yen each time your car exits the parking area. The hotel also offers the big bath and everyone will be charged 150 yen no matter you use the service or not. Breakfast is quite good.
Rooms and hotel...
We stayed with our family of four. The building is old, but the Japanese-style room was clean and comfortable. The view from the room was great. The breakfast buffet was okay. The porridge and whitebait were delicious. The Bentenjima pudding was rich.
The location is great. We booked for 3 people but there were 6 beds. There was no explanation of where to have toothbrushes, WiFi, or breakfast.

Amazing hotel, walking distance to the nearby attractions. Many stores nearby, good for solo or couple travellers.
Nice location near by metro station and jr (shin-imamiya station) I like type of the room very. Comfortable and clean.
Perfect location near the tower . Close to many restaurants and metro station(100 m) . The hotel is new and good rooms with futon . Staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.
Metro right in front of the hotel (Not JR Line). However, the beds are extremely soft and we are not able to sleep. No curtains and it was to bright in the early morning. Free drinks from 3pm to 9pm.
Excellent service. New and clean. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
The location is near the train station and the tower. The room have drinking water and more space but very small toilet and bathtub. At night, the light is too bright, even though there is curtain. The luggage cannot leave for free at the front after checkout. The staff is welcome to help.

The hotel is nice and spacious, and the breakfast is fantastic! 👍 For a Japanese-style breakfast, it's incredibly diverse, offering chicken, fish, eggs, fruits, and pastries, all at a good price. The only downside is that as a tourist destination, there isn't much to see, mainly the unique streetscapes of the onsen town… otherwise, it feels a bit like a large rural area. 😀 The hot springs are amazing...
The hotel is quite old and dated.
It's an old but very nice hotel. The room is in a traditional Japanese style, with yukata, tea set, futons, tatami mats - everything is as it should be! Very clean and cozy, definitely recommend it. It's a pity that you can't visit the onsen if you have a tattoo, but it's okay! There was a magnificent view of the mountains and the village from the window!
rooms were big and spacious
however the aircon was abit noisy and it affected my sleep. Building is also dated and it’s evident.
Onsen are nice and big very spacious. even had outdoor section which was abit small but still okay
The hotel is a bit dated, and its facilities aren't very modern, but it's kept quite clean. It's one of the larger hotels in the area, so expect tour groups to stay here. The breakfast was decent.
Large and a bit dated, but quite clean.

These are pictures of a standard twin room. Although a little old, it was clean. The outside of the building looks large (4 stories high) and almost industrial. Not what we had expected. The reception and ground floor interior is very nice and clean.
It's a very old school japanese room, wonderful experience!
People are great, they make you feel in a dream.
We really appreciate their fantastic onsen, you must try it.
In the evening the staff prepared a very special dinner, based on typical products and it was epic!
I chose the Japanese-style room, and it was perfect. The room was very spacious and clean. My friend really loved it because she got to soak in the onsen. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. This resort is located in the forest and mountains. I think it’s a great place to connect with nature.
Private individual Onsen bath for around 20 euros it is really worth it:), very nice traditional dinner, beautiful nature. Amazing service, special thanks to Kiu
The hotel has many facilities and is mostly occupied by locals, but it is a bit old.
The hot spring water is quite hot, and the beer hot spring does have a light hop flavor. It should be used by men and women on a daily basis.
The mountain road we drove on was quite steep. .
Unique Onsen hotel with outstanding services and facility.
Hotel provide you very wide room and good temperature control.
Meal is very delicious, you can order the course with Signature Ingredients of Mie prefecture.
Ise Lobster and Matsusaka Beef is very amazing.
Onsen is kinda old school.
Nice nostalgic atmosphere with one bath filled with Original Crafts Beer poured into Onsen bath. Very unique...

There's nothing particularly special around the inn, but you can relax and enjoy yourself inside the inn. The manager is very polite and kind, and the other staff members are also very helpful. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast. 👍 Highly recommended!
The location is a bit remote. The older male receptionist was very helpful. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, but the building's age was evident. The food was quite good, although some dishes were more Western in style, which I didn't really enjoy. I'd prefer some traditional local cuisine. Overall, it was a relaxing hotel.
I visited this inn for work. The sister inn Senjyuan was really good, so I decided to stay here this time! I wanted to relax by myself, so I booked one with an open-air bath. I made a reservation on the day, but they were flexible in their response. The hospitality was reminiscent of Senjyuan, from the moment I arrived until the time I was shown around. The food was also very satisfying, and made generous...
It was my first hot spring ryokan in Japan and I enjoyed it successfully.
The inn is located overlooking Mt. Tanigawa. It retains a nostalgic atmosphere, but it has been renovated and is well-maintained. Above all, the staff have a high sense of hospitality. Although I was unable to apply for the nationwide discount due to the website I used to book, they rebooked me and applied the discount. Although it was a standard plan, both dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious...
Amazing service. Great food. The water is hot! You can feel the history. Highly recommend.
The only downside is that taxi service runs only until 21:00 :( but that is Minakami wide

Everything was perfect, thank you so much 💛
I was able to relax. I also went to the outdoor bath, but the indoor bath was the most relaxing. After the bath, I was able to enjoy alcohol, wine, coffee, ice cream, etc. while reading a book, which was great.
Delightful ryokan with lovely gardens, large and comfortable rooms, wonderful staff, on-site onsen and only a short walk to restaurants and all the sights of Kinosaki-onsen!
Supernice hospitality!!!
I will stay here next time!
Nice and cosy Ryokan, with courteous staff that provides excellent service. We were welcomed at the hotel by several staff members, who were very kind to our family, and they made a lot of effort to serve us in English, which is very good for us foreigners. The food at the hot spring was very good, and the service was also quite good!
I originally booked a room on the first floor, but they upgraded me to the third floor. The room was clean, bright, comfortable, and spacious. It was a Japanese-style room with a balcony, a private hot spring tub, a separate shower, a toilet, and a washroom. Facing the stream and mountain scenery, it truly lived up to its name, Tohira, a place renowned for its hot springs. Dinner was a sumptuous Japanese...
The environment was comfortable, and the staff were polite and provided good service. The rooms were clean, the breakfast and dinner were delicious and plentiful, the hot spring environment was also very nice, and there was a happy hour with complimentary drinks. Although the price was slightly expensive, it provided a correspondingly good accommodation experience.
The rooms are all-style, each with its own hot spring pool. The hot spring water is over 60 degrees Celsius. Children under 12 are not allowed. The hotel is very quiet, and the public hot spring pool is not crowded. It is a sulfate spring with beautiful scenery. Meals are all in private rooms, ensuring good privacy. Some rooms on the first floor have courtyards with hot spring pools.
The hotel offers a wide range of services, including free use of the lobby, ice cream after a bath, and drinks, and above all, the hospitality of the staff was excellent, making my stay very pleasant (sorry for making me carry heavy bags despite my big belly). I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again. Thank you very much.

Great place with great rooms with easy access to the slopes. The hot springs is a must and is extremely easy for foreigners to use. Would recommend for anyone wanting a cheap but pleasant stay in niseko.
This hotel was about a five-minute walk from the ski equipment rental shop and the ski resort. It also had a hot spring sauna, which was great!
The room is nice, there is a greenhouse to store ski equipment, hot springs to soak in, and it's a five-minute walk from the ski resort
The first time I went skiing in Hokkaido, I chose Niseko. We went there during the peak season and booked late. Niseko is a popular place, so it was hard to find a hotel that was actually available and reasonably priced. Many ski hotels with good value for money and close to the ski resorts were fully booked early, or they were luxury hotels that were several times more expensive. Finally, after looking...
We stayed in a Japanese-style room with bathroom, which was relatively new. The hotel is very close to the ski lift, on the cross street, which is very convenient for shopping at night. Hirafu Welcome Center is not far from the hotel, about 200 to 300 meters away. The room faces Mount Yotei. The public bath in the hotel has hot springs, which also face Mount Yotei. It is recommended to go there after...
I was very skeptical given that this is the “budget” option compared to the super expensive hotels and resorts in the area. Plus the pictures look pretty bad. But we booked last minute and it was either this or a 3x more expensive hotel. So we decided to give it a try and I’m so glad we did!!
Overall the hotel is old and gives grandma vibes. But it’s Japanese old and everything is super well maintained...

A nice resort hotel with decent dinner menu/buffet style, and osen experience for guests. The rooms are quite old and dated, but they are comfortable and family friendly. The staff are nice and there is a gift shop selling local goodies.
I stayed here for a trip at the end of the year. It was a reasonable plan, and since my room was on the second floor, the view wasn't that great. The hotel felt nostalgic, unchanged from when I last stayed there seven years ago. The atmosphere was comforting, in a good way. These days, many hotels are renovated from apartment buildings, so I'm looking forward to seeing souvenir shops and game centers...
Very aged hotel and the service was very slow
The evening meal and the bar next to the pool were excellent. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The bath was great. It was a shame that it was raining and we couldn't see the sunset.
It is rare to be able to stay in a hot spring hotel at this price. Dinner was served in buffet style with a wide variety of dishes, including freshly fried Tottori Wagyu beef and all-you-can-eat red crab legs, but the crab legs were a bit dry. The tofu is also super delicious, with a very bean flavor.
The room has eight tatami mats, and on the other side there is a sofa, a small table, a refrigerator...
We stayed for one night with breakfast included.
The view of the hotel from the entrance was good and we had high hopes for our room, but unfortunately there was no view of the ocean from the window, even though we were on the top floor.
The breakfast was disappointing compared to what we had hoped for.
The meal was served in a bento box with cold side dishes, and they made rice and miso soup for us...

We booked 4 rooms for 10 people stays. So far my family enjoyed the stay here to experience the traditional Japanese ryokan with dinner and breakfast. Food are delicious as well
Staffs are very polite. Room is very big. Good service.
The management is inflexible. Because of flight delays, the hotel refuses to accommodate guests who are delayed by a day. The only option is to cancel without a refund and rebook. However, the hotel claims it's a problem with the system and cannot do this. This lack of flexibility causes losses for guests, which is very unsatisfactory. We hope the management methods can be improved.
Service was great, although I feel like the hotel is targeted at more elderly travelers. Breakfast was pretty and tasty. Onsen feels a bit unrenovated. The garden and the pond are pretty also. Would generally recommend, especially if you like to be thrown back to the 80s (but like in a good way).
This ryokan left mixed feelings.
We decided to walk from the bus stop to the ryokan, and that was a mistake. Along the way, we passed dilapidated and abandoned ryokans, one of which still had a wreath from a funeral. What we saw was truly terrifying.
At the ryokan itself, we were greeted warmly. They took our suitcases and took us to our room. They treated us to cold matcha and canelé.
I was shocked...

The whole experience at this ryokan was magical. Our room with the private onsen was so comfortable and we were lucky enough to get snow on our final morning. It was a nice inn with a Showa-era feel to it. However, there were a lot of stairs, and it was painful to see elderly people struggling with the stairs and the bath. But the best part was the service, the guy who attended us during reception, show us the room and explained the dinner was just fantastic. Thank you very much for making us feel welcome!

It's an okay, pretty standard hotel. The main drawback is that it's not very close to the station.
Exceeded my expectations! The bedding was super comfortable, the room was spacious and bright with a great view. The overall environment and cleanliness were excellent. My child enjoyed the breakfast and mentioned it was good. The location is also very convenient for transportation and dining.
The location is a bit far from the train station; you have to exit from C6 and then walk a bit. There's an elevator directly to the front desk. The front desk staff were very welcoming, the overall environment was decent, and breakfast was alright. However, the room facilities are quite old, and the towels are a bit stiff.
The room is small but well-designed, allowing me to open my suitcase comfortably. The location is great, close to Ikebukuro subway station, and there are plenty of restaurants downstairs. The front desk staff can speak Chinese. Although check-in is officially at 4 PM, they let me check in at 3:30 PM. You can also store your luggage if you arrive early.

A very good getaway spot for getting away from the busy ness of the city. The hotel itself was well-aged however the room and public area were well kept clean. Eventhough most staff members were not fluent in English, their customer service was top notch. They would arrange a short shuttle bus ride to the nearest Arashiyama JR station.
I highly recommend this hotel! The service is truly hotel-level; they were incredibly attentive, helping me with my luggage and parking. Upon arrival, the elderly lady at the hotel was very welcoming and hospitable. Her room tour was excellent, and she even made tea for us before leaving. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, especially the unidentified wild vegetable, which was absolutely wonderful...
A charming, vintage Japanese-style inn with over 20 rooms. Nestled beside the Seitong River and the vibrant red and green foliage of the opposite mountains, it's particularly striking in spring and autumn. Several nearby temples and the Tokai Nature Trail (which leads to Hozu Gorge) are highly recommended. Despite its age, the inn is well-maintained, and the Japanese-style service is impeccable.
It's an old ryokan, so you shouldn't expect much from the room or bath, but it's a bit disappointing for the price, but it's still worth a visit.
Nice traditional hotel but not very cheap and far from city.
It's just very far away. The room is still a little small. There are temples and shrines nearby, but they close too early. The breakfast is OK, but the sukiyaki dinner is not cost-effective. When you leave, they send you to JR Hanazono Station, which is still very good.
