Pros:
- The room is spacious for my family of 2 adults and 1 kid. I really appreciate the sofa and dining table.
- The amenities are also complete with toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, vanity kit and hairdryer. They also provide microwave and tablewares.
- Many dryers and washing machines, so you don’t have to compete during night time.
- Check-in and check-out was swift.
Cons:
- The room is not the cleanest as the floor can be dusty.
- The location is not that good since you have to walk 10-15minutes to Namba or other closest stations. When I was dragging my big luggages from Namba with a tired kid after 6 hour long flight, that felt very long.
- The play room is also clearly not designed by someone who has kids - it looks pretty but not the most functional and practical for kids to play. I wish they can plan the toys better.

Really loved staying here. Great location, close to train stations but also walkable distance from so many things. The room we got was absolutely perfect and for Japan standards, huge. The bed was comfy and large and just all around a great stay.

Best hotel! The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious, making them perfect for our family. We really appreciated the coin laundry, family room, and kids’ facilities available to all guests. The location is great, close to convenience stores and about a 10-minute walk to multiple stations. Thank you for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to return.

We stayed in a deluxe twin. It’s nice spacious room with two 4 ft beds, even have a seating area with a coach in the room. The room acoustic is great, you don’t hear much traffic at all. The amenities is great, please do explore around the hotel.
The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Namba station and is tucked slightly away from the bustling Namba and yet is just a street away.
Will definitely come back again.

Perfect location for exploring Osaka, well connected to public transport and walkable to Namba within 15 minutes. The hotel itself is a large building on a Main Street however we didn’t hear any noise at all from our room, it had all the amenities you could need, with a communal cooking / drinks room, along with a bar and restaurant. There was a gym which had a good range of equipment, alongside ice and vending machines on every floor.
The room itself was very spacious, well equipped and clean with everything you could need. The bed itself was very comfy and we had a great few nights sleep.
We found the staff and check in experience really easy and signing up with a free membership beforehand gave us free early check in. The staff also assisted us with sending luggage onto Tokyo which was easy.
Only problem we had was a dirty duvet when we checked in but the staff fixed it within minutes!

It was a brand new and trendy hotel. It was easy to use with all the kitchen facilities. On the ground floor is the Takashimaya food court where you can buy everything from Japanese sake to solid food.

Takashimaya remains in moderation, and the renovation method is good and beautiful. This hotel is recommended for those who like vintage architecture. The service is good and reasonable. The real estate agent in Singapore seems to be the parent company, and there are many foreign staff. There are some shops on the ground floor, so you can enjoy it.

It is about twice the size of a normal hotel room. (31 sq.m for a deluxe double room) There are separate tables and desks, and the desks have different power sources, so I was comfortable working on my computer. The closet has a large capacity and is convenient even for a long stay. There is also a food court on the first floor for eating, it is recommended to do this at Kuromon Market in advance.

I stayed there for a week just before they closed. Not to mention the new and beautiful, large rooms at reasonable prices. I want you to resume business as soon as possible.

Decent Stay but with Limited Amenities
I stayed at the Y&Y Hotel for two nights. While the hotel is within walking distance of the station and Dotonbori Market, the location is a bit far compared to other options. However, the walk is manageable if you're used to exploring on foot.
The room was small but very clean. However, in Japan, room cleaning often comes as an additional cost service, and this hotel follows that practice. The basic amenities provided were minimal compared to other hotels I stayed at during my trip.
One thing to note is that the reception desk isn’t staffed 24 hours like in most hotels. If you plan to check in outside their available hours, you’ll need to contact them in advance. On the plus side, they do offer luggage storage before check-in, which is helpful.
Overall, Y&Y Hotel is a decent choice if you’re looking for a clean, budget-friendly option and don’t mind the limited amenities or slightly inconvenient location.
