Oriental Hotel Universal City in Osaka

I was very disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel.
Just a few days before my arrival, the hotel repeatedly sent self check-in messages demanding excessive personal information, including passport details and photos.
At that stage, most travelers are already occupied with their travel plans and sightseeing, making it unreasonable to expect guests to read lengthy check-in instructions or upload multiple documents.
While I understand this might be required for legal reasons, sending so many reminders so late felt careless and inconsiderate.

In addition, I mentioned this issue to the hotel staff during my stay, but received no response or follow-up. This lack of communication and concern reflected very poor customer service.
Overall, the experience was unpleasant and disappointing.

今回の滞在には大変がっかりしました。
到着のわずか数日前に、ホテルから何度もセルフチェックインの案内が届き、パスポート情報や顔写真など、過度な個人情報の提出を求められました。
旅行中のタイミングでこのような手続きを求められても、観光や移動で忙しく、長い説明を読む時間や書類をアップロードする余裕はほとんどありません。
法的な理由があるのかもしれませんが、直前になって何度も通知を送る対応には誠意や配慮が感じられませんでした。

また、滞在中にこの件についてスタッフに伝えましたが、特に返答や対応はなく、サービスの姿勢にも疑問を感じました。
全体として不快な印象が残り、とても残念でした。

這次的住宿體驗讓我感到相當失望。抵達之後的幾天內，飯店多次寄來有關自助報到的訊息，裡面有一堆的說明，還要求提供個人資料，包含護照資訊與照片。
相信對於多數旅客而言，這些事情應該是在出發前就會準備完畢，飯店寄信的時機點已經在行程當中，根本不可能抽空閱讀冗長的入住說明或上傳相關文件。
可以理解是日本的法規要求，但是，不斷地發送訊息要求住客登記自助入住的資訊有夠惱人，這間飯店難道櫃檯人員是娃娃或裝飾品嗎？
此外，我在入住期間也曾向飯店人員反映此事，但並未得到任何回覆或後續處理，讓我感受到服務品質低下。整體而言，這次的住宿經驗令人感到非常不悅。
