The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot yet still very central. It's a convenient 15-minute walk to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it easy to get around. As expected for Japan, the room was small but had everything you could need.

Extremely, extremely dirty. I've traveled to Japan more than ten times, and I've never seen a hotel this filthy. I accidentally pulled back the duvet cover and saw what's in the pictures—it's absolutely disgusting. The pillows were the same. There were strange hairs all over the room. The duvet cover was also super thin. Seriously, it was so gross. I asked them to change it, but they only changed the duvet cover. This hotel seems to mostly host foreign tour groups.

The single room was quite spacious. There's a small entryway by the door where you can hang clothes and change shoes, and the luggage rack can easily hold a 30-inch suitcase. The lobby offers free coffee and drink machines. It's close to Daikoku Station, and there's a Life supermarket nearby that's open until midnight. Very satisfied!

This hotel is the best hotel in this trip!!
Room interior was bright and everything was clean. The toilet provided shampoo, conditioner and soap. The smell was soooo nice. Also the water pressure nice so you relief some tiredness.
But one thing I don’t like about was the sound proof. Cuz you can heard kids screaming. Tho that was not happened at night time but still a bit annoyed.

The room was clean and tidy, and I appreciated the option to choose whether or not to have it cleaned. Aside from the occasional sound of cars racing at night, the surroundings were quite quiet. There's a 24-hour supermarket not far away, and several convenience stores nearby. The subway station is just a ten-minute walk, making getting around very convenient. My only minor quibble is that the room faced an arcade, which I wasn't particularly keen on, but otherwise, everything else was quite satisfactory.

- From the beginning, the check in experience was very welcoming. The reception staff were helpful, friendly, and professional.
- The room was very clean and beautiful, with comfortable mattress and pillows. The bathroom was well equipped with quality, nicely scented soaps, which added a nice touch to the stay. Overall, the room was definitely worth the price. The check out procedure was fast and easy.
- I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is located near a subway station which was very convenient , and there is a FamilyMart right next to the hotel.

I will give 6/5 👍🏻👍🏻

Really like hotel. Everything very well thought out. I got everything I need. The room is roomier than a lot of hotels in Japan in the same price range. The washing machine setup is the best I have ever seen. The location is a bit far from the train station and the ******** cross the street can be a bit noisy in the night.

Richmond hotel Namba Daikokucho, in my opinion, is by far, one of the most comfortable hotels I’ve stayed in Japan. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The guy who attended to my sister and I, when we checked-in, was really helpful. Forgot to ask his name, but he tied his hair into a ponytail. Although I speak very little Japanese, they (the staffs) aren’t afraid to help me when I asked questions like how do I go to a certain place from here.

The room is spacious and clean. There’s water dispenser and laundry room on the floor I stayed. Not sure if it’s on every floor though. The area is okay, not noisy even though there’s a ******** arcade next to this hotel. ‘Kombini’ is nearby, just a 2-minute walk.

Overall, I’m truly satisfied with my stay here.
