Coming from Umeda Station, you'll want to find the East Mall, then walk straight until you reach exit M10 of WHITY PLAZA Izumi Square. The first time can be a bit confusing because there are so many people, so make sure to look up for signs. Once you've done it once, it's easy to navigate, and there's an elevator exit. The room size is moderate and has everything you need.

The front desk service was excellent, very friendly and efficient with a quick check-in. We were given a room on the 11th floor, which was quiet and clean. The room size was decent, and they offer luggage storage. The area around the hotel is quite lively with plenty of options for dining and shopping, making it very convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located just an 8-minute walk from Hankyu Department Store, if you turn right and walk straight. Behind the hotel, there's a street called Higashi-dori with many snack shops. The M10 exit leads directly to the lively underground shopping street, Izumi no Hiroba, which connects all the way to the B1 floor of Hankyu Department Store, offering an incredible variety of food.

The hotel room was great, much larger and more spacious than I expected. It had all the amenities you could need. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Umeda, just a short walk away. Plus, there's a Don Quijote store nearby, which is handy for shopping.

After arriving at JR Osaka Station, I followed the navigation and eventually reached the hotel after a right turn and a left turn through a shopping street. It's a quiet oasis nestled in a bustling area. Since it's right above a shopping street, finding food is incredibly convenient with plenty of options. I arrived just before 11 AM and only wanted to store my luggage. I have to praise their system here; they have a dedicated luggage room on the first floor where you can secure your bags with a combination lock from the rack. No need to keep a key, just remember your code. So, I happily went out to explore and eat, and it was perfect to come back and check in later. The photos were taken while I was out sightseeing.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Umeda business district, making it easy to get around and shop. If you check in early, you can self-deposit your luggage. The room is very small; arranging luggage requires some skill, and there's barely enough space for two people to turn around.

This hotel is located not far from the subway station, which is quite convenient. There are two 24-hour supermarkets directly opposite, and the area is surrounded by high-rise buildings and countless department stores. For this neighborhood, an 18-square-meter room is considered quite spacious. However, the only downside is that the cleanliness wasn't as good as I expected; it seemed a bit haphazard. The photos are from a nearby spot where you can get a panoramic view of Osaka's night skyline 🌃.

The location is incredibly convenient. We came from Arima Onsen, and it's not far from the hotel. The airport shuttle bus stop is also very close, about an eight-minute walk. It's easy to get anywhere.

Behind the hotel is a shopping street with many dining options. This area is in the heart of Umeda, with Hankyu Department Store and Hankyu Sanbangai being the closest. It's perfect for shopping.

The downside is that, like most standard Japanese business hotels, the rooms are very small. However, I was aware of this beforehand, so it wasn't a surprise. All the necessary facilities are provided. Toiletries are DHC, and you pick them up downstairs.

It's worth mentioning that the hotel's breakfast is excellent. Compared to most business hotels in the same price range, the breakfast is quite extensive, featuring steak and congee. Vegetables and fruits are also available.

Seriously, avoid this hotel at all costs!!!

1. **Terrible Housekeeping and Service.** We stayed for four consecutive nights. Upon check-in, we were informed that the hotel promotes eco-friendliness, so if we put out the green card, they wouldn't change the bedding or towels. On the first day, we placed the green card, thinking it was good to support the environment. However, when we returned from sightseeing, we found the trash hadn't been emptied. After complaining the next day, the trash was finally emptied. On the third day, we didn't dare hang the green card, but the trash *still* wasn't emptied! In four nights, the hotel only emptied the trash once, and the bed and duvet were never made or changed!

2. **Awful Amenities.** The air conditioning in the room was incredibly poor; even on the lowest setting, it was too hot to sleep comfortably with a blanket. We had to sleep without any covers just to feel alright! Furthermore, the hotel does not have any Chinese-speaking staff and doesn't provide complimentary bottled water (you have to get water from a dispenser in the corridor).

3. **Dreadful Facilities.** While it's understandable that Japanese hotel bathrooms can be compact, I've never encountered a smart toilet where the flush button isn't on the control panel, but hidden *behind* the toilet lid – meaning you couldn't flush unless the lid was closed first. Additionally, the Wi-Fi speed was very slow and unstable; pages constantly froze and wouldn't refresh.

To summarize, this hotel is absolutely atrocious. If I hadn't stayed at other decent hotels in Kyoto beforehand, I would have genuinely believed all Japanese hotels were this terrible. If our booking hadn't been non-refundable, we would have changed hotels midway through our stay. It severely impacted our travel mood. You absolutely, positively MUST steer clear of this dreadful hotel!!
