The ryokan is simple but lovely. The staff, consisting of two people—a grandmother and grandfather—are very pleasant and polite, always approachable. The ryokan is located in a picturesque spot with mountain air, a river, and always welcoming and polite people. They even provide yukata, so you can feel like a true Japanese person there. The food is plentiful; we booked a room with breakfast and dinner included, and we were simply shocked by the amount of food; it was absolutely delicious. The futons were lovely and comfortable to sleep on.

The bus ride from Kyoto to the hotel was quite long, probably over 40 stops, and then a 7-8 minute walk. The road was generally okay. The hotel is surrounded by mountains and farmland, and the scenery was beautiful after rain. The room wasn't large, but it was still comfortable for two people after we put our luggage in. However, you couldn't wear your own shoes once you entered the hotel; they didn't provide socks. The walk from the guest room to the restaurant was about ten meters. Slippers were provided at the entrance, but they didn't have your room number printed on them. You couldn't wear them into the restaurant in your slippers, and they would have gotten mixed up, so I had to clean them with alcohol wipes. I recommend having your shoe size printed on the slippers so you can wear your own. The hot spring isn't large, but it was clean, and the bath products were excellent. The rooms are on the second floor, which doesn't have a toilet or bathroom, so you have to go up to the first floor. The stairs are steep, and I was a bit worried about missing a step when going up and down to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The elderly man was very hospitable and personally cooked us a delicious chicken hot pot for dinner.

The environment is very quiet and relaxing. The hotel owners, the old man and the old woman, are very kind and friendly. As soon as we walked in, they enthusiastically asked us to choose yukata. The breakfast and dinner were impeccable and very delicious.

Wanting to experience a Japanese hot spring hotel, I chose this homestay, and the result was far beyond my expectations. I recommend everyone to come to this hotel.
The owner is a couple who are very enthusiastic. You can use bicycles for free, help with luggage, and carefully introduce how to use the facilities and help choose yukata. The service is great.

Environment: I thought it was a public bathroom, but it was very clean. There was fragrance in the air, music was played, and there was the sound of running water. The floor was very clean, and there was not even a hair. In such a hot summer, all the public areas are air-conditioned, which is very cool.

The feeling of taking a hot spring bath is quite good. There is a hot spring in a small bath, which is the feeling of a very authentic Japanese hot spring hotel. The towels you need, as well as makeup remover, hair dryer, perm stuff, and shampoo and bath stuff are all available, and they are all good brands. It can be seen that they are very attentive.

The most important thing is that the price-performance ratio is extremely suitable. Two dinners for two people, two breakfasts and one night's accommodation only cost more than 700 yuan, which is great.

If you stay here, it is recommended to order a dinner, or breakfast at the breakfast shop. The dinner is more Japanese and delicious.
