Personally, I think if you're looking to book a room costing 4,000 to 5,000 yen or more, you might consider this hotel. However, if you're just looking to book a room for 1,000 to 2,000 yen, hoping to get a good deal and experience a high-end hotel, I suggest you forget about it. You won't even be able to enter the garden; it's like a cheap youth hostel in rural Japan. And for 1,000 yen, you can get a very nice place to stay in Kyoto. There's no need to choose this hotel.

The room facilities were terrible, very old. The problem was that my friend brought me here, and after only half an hour in the room, they politely asked me to leave, saying they'd charge me otherwise. It was ridiculous. I won't book there again; the service was truly awful.

I developed eczema after staying here. The sheets and quilt were very hard. I only slept for two hours at night. The whole hotel had a smell. There were small insects in the bathroom that would suddenly jump on me. The air conditioner was so loud that I couldn't sleep.

I hope you don't make a reservation!!!!!!!!
First of all, the ryokan is really bad for the price. I paid 740,000 won and went, but the family bath I reserved was a really small indoor bath.
And even that window was broken. I visited the front desk to check in and use the family bath for dinner, but no matter how many times I called, they wouldn't come out.
I think I had to wait for 5 minutes to come out. Another Japanese guest couldn't stand it any longer and rang the front desk bell several times, but I rang it several times and they didn't come out, so I said I was waiting.
The dinner wasn't tasty either, so I left. The best part was the coffee and ice cream, so I ate the most of those.
I made the reservation, so I felt bad for the person I was with.
They asked if this was 740,000 won.
Oh, there's an additional fee for the accommodation or city tax when you check out.
Anyway, I recommend that you carefully research other ryokans and make a reservation.

The charming atmosphere of this century-old ryokan and its friendly staff were truly impressive. The spacious room and private onsen allowed me to completely relax and rejuvenate throughout my stay. The exquisite kaiseki dinner, enjoyed with a stunning view of the Japanese garden, was a highlight. Nanzenji Yachiyo Ryokan, which allowed me to experience the unique charm of rainy Kyoto, was simply superb. I'm even thinking of visiting again just to return an umbrella to the owner!

I found a hotel with history, it's really historic (old)
It's small, the environment is good, the dinner provided by the hotel is very good, the breakfast feels like a repeat of the dinner, but I can't finish it at all, but the environment of the restaurant is really good, the room is a traditional tatami, people who are not used to sleeping should choose carefully, one night experience is enough
