Relaxation good place to go

After getting off at Bus Station, walk for about 15 minutes towards Jakkoin Temple to reach the onsen ryokan (hot spring inn). Jakkoin Temple is right next to the inn. The ryokan seems to have been renovated; the overall environment is clean and tidy in a Japanese style. The only inconvenience is that the toilet and washbasin are shared outside the rooms. The onsen facilities are simple yet comfortable. The ryokan provides two meals per night; the dinner and breakfast are delicious.

It was wonderful. Very nice and cozy. The onsen was clean and relaxing. Dinner and breakfast were traditional. There was a lot of food.

I recently stayed at Yumoto Onsen OharaSansou and absolutely loved it! 🌿
The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, making you want to stroll and enjoy nature. The onsen on site adds a special cozy and relaxing atmosphere—the perfect place to unwind after a walk or hike.
The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Plus, there are excellent hiking and walking trails nearby, so you definitely won't get bored. Overall, Yumoto Onsen OharaSansou left only pleasant impressions—cozy, beautiful, delicious, and warm. I'll definitely come back and recommend it to everyone! 💚

The food was delicious, and although it was a bit of a walk from the bus stop, the staff at the inn provided a shuttle service on the way back, which was very helpful.

The food was great! The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and cozy, the soundproofing was excellent, the futons were comfortable, the view from the window to the mountains was extremely pleasant. I would be happy to come again.

It feels more like a ryokan-style youth hostel than a ryokan~
The rooms are all connected to each other in a single room~
But the hot springs are great~
I'll heal you and go~ After checking in, enjoy the hot springs the next day and be sure to rent a bicycle (200 yen) and take a tour of the town~ It's really healing~

The location is not that great because it is in a remote mountain village. However, you can get there by bus no. 17/19 from Kyoto Station, and if you contact us in advance, we will pick you up at Ohara Station. They are not picky about check-in or dinner times, and they will be flexible depending on the situation. If possible, it would be better for both parties to arrive with plenty of time, but don't worry too much if you are late. If you let us know in advance, we will accommodate you. The dinner and breakfast were very delicious, and the hot springs were excellent for relieving fatigue. The accommodation was also spacious and had a nice tatami room, and all the staff were friendly. It was a very memorable night in Kyoto that I will definitely visit again if I have the chance.

Located very close to Jakkoin Temple, this is the perfect inn for those who want to experience a rustic atmosphere. The hot springs were also good. However, there are no washrooms or toilets in the rooms, and they are shared.
The breakfast and dinner meals were especially delicious, especially the rice. However, it seemed like they were short-staffed, and there were some issues, such as the sake I ordered not being served, or although I asked "Is the sake ready yet?" and they brought it, there were no extra glasses, and the price of the sake was double-counted when I checked out. (They corrected it when I asked.) The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was peak season, so I think it was within the acceptable range.
