The room i booked for was non smoking room, but when I entered the room, I could smell cigarettes very strong. I asked the staff to swap the room for me and they did it in a sec ! The alternative room was great. Thank you for being helpful.
Onsen was nice but I wish I could go in in the morning too!
This hotel is great, really close to Narita Airport, and they offer a free shuttle service. Just be sure to check the schedule carefully. The hotel is very clean and includes a complimentary breakfast, which is excellent and offers a wide variety of both Western and Japanese options, including boiled eggs and raw eggs. There's also free parking and a complimentary hot spring package to Tokyo Yuurakujo
very nice hotel it feels luxury but affordable and the spa house is very nice lots of things to do very entertaining
The room was very spacious and offered great value for money—it was a steal! The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus, making it super convenient to get from Narita to the hotel. The next day, I took the hotel bus again to Tokyo Station.
Nice place to stay, the onsen and dancing fountain is the best!
The room felt a bit outdated in terms of design, but it was spacious and very clean. The amenities were more than sufficient, so I didn’t feel any inconvenience. I would like to stay here again.

The room was very clean, staff was great and there were no problems with service, but the room was really warm all the time despite the heater not being on and it being December/January.
The staff were friendly and the place was clean.
I used trash and towels, put them in bags, and left them at the door the next day. They cleaned them up and brought new ones, which was incredibly convenient.
The room was a little small, but it was cozy and nice.
The location was also better than I expected, making it incredibly convenient!
This was my second time staying at this hotel, and the reception staff were very friendly. I chose this hotel because it's a 3-minute walk from Machida Station. The Kyushu cuisine restaurant on the first floor also received high marks. I think I'll stay here again.
Simple, clean, convenient hotel near to Machida Station. Beautiful Japanese breakfast. No reason to stay anywhere else when visiting Machida.

Beautiful environment, comfortable and spacious stay.
Convenient stop at NRT for a quick sleep before heading to your final destination. Very good breakfast, some rooms very small, ask for a room facing the airport, those rooms are significantly bigger. Bathtub a plus. Onsite gym, scale to weigh luggage, convenience shop for snacks, comfortable lobby, overall not bad for the price point. I stop there regularly when flying from China to california.
The hotel room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We stayed as a group of four and were provided with queen-size beds and twin single, which were very comfortable. T bathrooms, which was very convenient for us. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. 👍
Have shuttles bus from airport narita
Decent, but an older hotel with somewhat outdated facilities. However, being a member and getting a late check-out until 2 PM is very convenient. They also offer a shuttle to the airport and a free shuttle to the shopping mall. The shuttle has pick-up points at both T1 and T2, which is where most hotels stop anyway.
The hotel's location was incredibly convenient for our departure. The room was spacious, bright, and clean, with no strange odors. It was quiet and comfortable – I was very satisfied. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, which was truly heartwarming.
There's a shuttle bus service to and from the airport, which was super convenient since my flight was delayed by over 10 hours. That's why I picked the Crowne Plaza. It was reasonably priced and the room was quite spacious compared to other hotels.

The room was compact and comfortable and the top floor public bath was awesome
The hotel is good. They provide electrical adapters and umbrellas for rainy weather. The breakfast is a bit sparse; it could be improved.
This is hands down my favorite hotel to stay at when I’m in Tokyo. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the train station, which makes exploring the city so easy. I also love that there are plenty of great restaurants right in the neighborhood, so finding a good meal after a long day of sightseeing is never a problem. The rooms are clean and comfortable (exactly what you expect...
Definately one of the better APA hotels I've stayed at.
Rooms are typical APA style, aimed at single traveller with just the one suitcase to fit uner the bed, but they are nicer than most, being a touch bigger and nicer facilities.
There are fewer Tokyo hotels that include an onsen but this is one of the few that do, and it was amazing as well - both an indoor and outdoor onsen.
Luggage storage available...
Nice hotel with good service and an onsen. The rooms are quite small but ours had a great view which includes the national diet building (not in picture). If you are here because you want to be next to the diet building or the prime Minister's residence, this is the perfect hotel. However a lot of restaurants and convenience stores are much further away.
Everything was wonderful, the staff was wonderful! They helped with all our questions and allowed us to leave our luggage longer.
At check-in, we found a clean and cozy room, complete with clothes, welcome drinks, and various toiletries.
Highly recommend! A solid 10/10.

A business hotel close to the subway station. Breakfast on the first floor is delicious. Using sauna of B1 is a good way to relieve fatigue. The room is really small, so it is difficult for 2 people to use it. My back hurts because the bed is old. There are many restaurants and convenience stores near the subway. Unexpectedly, there are many Western tourists.
They were very helpful when I needed to store my luggage, and they even gave me directions to my destination, which was a huge help! I'd love to stay here again!
This is a typical chain business hotel. I usually stay elsewhere in Shinjuku, but it was fully booked. This hotel and my usual one are both about a 10-minute walk from the station. A definite plus here is the public bath downstairs, although it's clearly not a natural hot spring. I also appreciate its proximity to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, which I love. It's a straightforward and convenient walk...
The room was clean and well-equipped, but the service at the counter was not impressive. They weren't as helpful or informative as they should have been when I had questions.
Cosy place with nice facilities. Staff were very friendly too
The stay overall was smooth. The room layout is somewhat unconventional, with several rooms featuring lowered ceiling beams that can feel restrictive in certain areas. This appears to be due to the building’s structural design and infrastructure placement, and while it may affect the sense of openness, the rooms remain functional and efficiently organised for short stays.
On a positive note, the hotel...

The room was standard, typical of a Mitsui hotel. The lobby is on the 15th floor, and the service was good. The location is relatively convenient. Overall, it's pretty decent. However, the elevators were slow and crowded.
Pretty terrible experience with the cleanliness of the hotel. The bathroom smelled like mold, there were several hairs throughout the room, it was dusty everywhere, and the worst part was that the bedsheets were stained and we asked room service to wash it but they didn’t. Thankfully the front desk is nice and they gave us a new room which was just as dirty but without the stained sheets. Breakfast...
The room isn't huge, but it's clean and tidy, and the bed is comfortable. The location is super convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. The large public bath is definitely a highlight of the hotel – it's incredibly relaxing after a long day. The breakfast, however, could use some improvement.
The location is great, right near Gotanda Station. You just cross the skybridge to get there. However, it's not ideal if you have large luggage, as crossing the road can be a bit of a hassle. There are plenty of food options nearby, giving it a good local vibe.
Very clean n comfortable hotel. Hotel reception located at the 15th floor with beautiful view sky garden. 2-3mins walk to subway station, a Lawson convenience store next to the hotel entrance. Nothing to complain about. I love staying here.
The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, truly just a 3-minute walk to Gotanda Station, which is a hub for multiple public transport lines. It's super easy to get to Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and even Kamakura from here. We booked a twin room, and for Tokyo, the room was quite spacious. The breakfast selection was also pretty good. The room was clean and the hot spring facilities were great. The ramen and popsicles in the evening were delicious. It's a shame the room rates are getting more expensive, so the value for money isn't as good anymore.
The room was really small, but it had everything we needed. The breakfast was good.
Great hotel, good location, excellent quality for three stars. The hot springs are worth it. Very good hot sauna almost 100°C
I will stay in this hotel again when I travel to Kawasaki.

The hotel was away from station within 10 mins walk. Very convenient. The staffs are very friendly and polite. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. I love the massage chair a lot in the public area. Just 15 mins cycle can refreshing yourself especially after a long day walking. A lot of restaurants around the area. You can definitely find something good to eat. Highly recommended. Facilities: Very new, I really like the minimalist style.
Hygiene: Very clean, the bathtub was very comfortable for a soak.
Environment: The environment is excellent. I booked this place specifically for the Tokyo Tower view 🗼. The King Room with a view was exceptional.
Service: The service was great, and the deposit was only 3,000 JPY.
The hotel has a great environment and an excellent location, making it convenient to get anywhere. The service is good, and the room is clean. It's definitely recommendable, and I'll stay here again next time.
Good location
Nice customer service
This hotel has a great resort-like feel. All the staff are fluent in English (I barely saw any Asian staff at the front desk or in the restaurant). The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety for an à la carte hotel. The valet parking, housekeeping, and front office restaurant service were all excellent. Highly recommend!
The lobby lounge has a fantastic ambiance, with a floor-to-ceiling window offering views of Tokyo Tower. I stayed there and had drinks in the lounge both nights. It was a really great experience, and I hope to visit again.

Stayed one night and liked it so much that I'm planning to return to this hotel tonight after visiting Kamakura. The room is spacious and the transportation is convenient. Traveling with my son, this was a very satisfying stay in Tokyo. I also stayed one night at the Washington hotel nearby, which has A and B buildings. We had unagi (grilled eel) at a restaurant next door; they only serve 10 portions...
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station's underground passage. On the first day, I couldn't find the passage, but walking along the main road from the South Exit works just as well, and it was a pleasant walk. The room was clean and not too small, which I was happy with.
Whenever we go to Japan Tokyo we always stay at Washington shinjuku hotel always a pleasant stay and the staff is nice. Japan rooms are typically small so manage expectations but for cleanliness and accessibility to a lot of places with a lot of restaurants at the hotel itself
Choose this hotel if u r taking airport limo bus, it’s just located outside of the hotel. But it might takes walking distance 10 minutes+ to Shinjuku station. I stayed in Annex and it looks new
Strange odour in the room upon entering. Fortunately they provide an air purifier, air freshener spray and fan, but it still took about 2 days to rid the smell.
The room is small, barely enough for putting your luggage and walking space. Room is just basic, so don't expect too much. But location is good, located on one of the stops for airport shuttle. And tube station is walking distance
For a business traveller, this place is convenient. There’s Japan Limosine Bus stop right in front of this hotel. Within the building, there are also many restaurants around.

Beautiful Autumn Views, But Limited Late-Night Convenience
This location offers stunning views, especially during autumn when the hilltop scenery is breathtaking. The hotel serves a buffet for both breakfast and dinner, with a wide selection of items. The evening buffet was good and the hot spring experience was great
I went there for the first time in a long time. Perhaps because it was a weekday, only the main building was open. There's a convenience store right opposite the hotel, which was super handy. Since I was staying in Omiya, I also popped over to Kasukabe to see the Crayon Shin-chan exhibits. The station is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Luggage lockers at Omiya station are 800 yen each, or you can leave your bags at the hotel, though that means a bit of a trek back and forth.

The most undervalued 5 star hotel in Tokyo. It has everything youd expect from a 5 star and service is impeccable
The room was spacious with a lovely view of the Japanese-style garden, which was very picturesque and not too crowded. The environment was excellent. Getting to Shinjuku by bus was very convenient. The hotel was great! It's close to the subway, and the cleanliness was excellent. The room was a bit small, but that's pretty standard for hotels in Japan 😂. Being able to open two suitcases was a plus, and the laundry facilities were convenient and affordable.
The hotel is easy to find and conveniently located for getting around. The bathhouse downstairs is great and definitely recommended. They even gave us two drink tokens at check-in, which we could use for free drinks from the vending machine.
The room was larger than expected, with enough space to fully open a 28-inch suitcase, and the layout was well-proportioned. Plus, it has a large public bath, which is a great option for those who enjoy soaking. It's also very close to both the subway and JR stations, making transportation convenient.
The A4 exit of the subway station is the closest. Breakfast is consistently good, and there are restaurants, convenience stores, and Senso-ji Temple nearby. If you're visiting Tokyo, this is a great choice.

My husband and I were very happy with the room layout and the overall service. We even received pastries and small gifts for our New Year's Day check-in. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Tokyo.
I come to Tokyo several times a year, staying a fortnight or more each time. This time I spent seven nights at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu.
The room faced Hie Shrine. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows I could see the shrine's copper roof and half of Tokyo's skyline. The décor was modern without excess; the layout flowed easily, Bose speakers hidden in the walls, another set in the bathroom ceiling...
I personally feel that the Capitol Hotel Tokyu offers the best value for money among Tokyo's luxury hotels. Safety is, of course, a given, located in the very heart of the government district.
