Dormy Inn Akihabara Hot Spring, Tokyo1 / 30
9.0
Kanto region, Tokyo, 4-12-5 Soto-Kanda 🧭 Map
Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
The hotel is located very conveniently to station and restaurants. Has a very large outdoor hot spring.
The accommodations were awesome, accessible to Subway in less than 5min, and can soak into a hot spring after you shop all day long.. nearby got supermarket, 7-11, Lawson, family mark and more.. come and explore it.. free mini ramen for your supper.. hehe
As a Canadian I love staying here. It was really great, good location and not that busy. Staff are friendly.
Room is clean. Breakfast and late night ramen is tasty. However the room is a bit small for 2 people.
Facilities: The hotel is well-equipped, but everything is on the small side – the rooms, restaurant, hot spring, and even the lobby. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Location: The hotel is located in Akihabara, very close to the subway station on foot. The surrounding area is bustling, with excellent shopping and dining options. Service: The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.
The bed is absolutely too small for 2 normal size adults to sleep comfortably.

This was the most comfortable two-day stay we've had in Japan. Our room was spacious and relaxing, and having a private hot spring right in the garden made the experience truly special. The meals were exceptional - delicious, beautifully prepared, and generously served. We're especially grateful to the okami who took care of us. Even though we don't speak Japanese, she communicated with patience and...
Great experience. As a foreign, I appreciated all the extra effort to understand each other. We got a room with a private onsen and it was wonderful. The food was also very good, we ended up very filled. The service to be picked up at the station was very convenient.
Wonderful stay. Facilities are lovely, staff is kind and attentive and the food was nice. Great way to usher in the fall.
Really enjoyed our stay there. We booked the executive suite for the full authentic experience with our own onsen. The dinner was a multi course meal, served in our room and the breakfast was a Kaiseki also served in our room. The food was very delicious and the presentation was amazing. Our favourite memory of Japan, and we had a lot of amazing memories of this place in our two week visit. It is definitely...
A stately inn built in the quiet area of Oku Yugawara. Good hospitality for a beautiful view. This is the best. There are some things that I am curious about, but the rating remains the same.
Great place, nice staff, amazing rooms. Love it!

This five-star hotel is absolutely wonderful! The hotel itself has a rich history, and there's even a museum inside that meticulously chronicles its past. The hotel garden is stunning and perfect for photos. The Japanese breakfast is a must-try; we enjoyed it so much that we had it for four consecutive mornings! What's more, the Japanese breakfast menu changes every three days, with each day offering...
This hotel is practically flawless. The facilities are excellent, the service is great, the food is delicious, the aesthetics are beautiful, and the location is perfect. Some particular highlights include: ① The entire hotel is a scenic spot; you could spend half a day just exploring it. The adjacent shrine is directly connected to a hiking trail. ② Japanese breakfast requires a reservation, while...
The forest-view rooms are located in the wing built in the 1960s. The decor isn't just retro; it's genuinely vintage. You can tell they used quality materials and had good taste, but it definitely feels dated. The public bath is conveniently located on the 6th floor of the forest wing. The shower stalls have dividers, so privacy is decent. If you're not comfortable using the public bath, the hot water...
The hotel itself has a lot of character. As a century-old hot spring hotel, the architecture is quaint and grand, and the courtyard is huge, perfect for a long stroll and great for photos. The location is also very convenient with easy access to transportation. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, highly recommended.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. Even though I had some understanding of it before booking, staying there in person truly revealed the unexpected delights. The hotel is conveniently located near the Tram Palace lower station or the Hotel Zen bus stop, making it accessible even without a car or private charter. Then there's the hotel's architecture, the concierge area, the front desk, the check...
This is my 3rd visit in past 2 years. The hotel is so well maintained, the service is very professional. We enjoyed the japanese set dinner and felt that the portion can be bigger. The Western Breakfast was great and must try. The dining ambience was good.

There's nothing particularly special around the inn, but you can relax and enjoy yourself inside the inn. The manager is very polite and kind, and the other staff members are also very helpful. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast. 👍 Highly recommended!
The location is a bit remote. The older male receptionist was very helpful. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, but the building's age was evident. The food was quite good, although some dishes were more Western in style, which I didn't really enjoy. I'd prefer some traditional local cuisine. Overall, it was a relaxing hotel.
I visited this inn for work. The sister inn Senjyuan was really good, so I decided to stay here this time! I wanted to relax by myself, so I booked one with an open-air bath. I made a reservation on the day, but they were flexible in their response. The hospitality was reminiscent of Senjyuan, from the moment I arrived until the time I was shown around. The food was also very satisfying, and made generous...
It was my first hot spring ryokan in Japan and I enjoyed it successfully.
The inn is located overlooking Mt. Tanigawa. It retains a nostalgic atmosphere, but it has been renovated and is well-maintained. Above all, the staff have a high sense of hospitality. Although I was unable to apply for the nationwide discount due to the website I used to book, they rebooked me and applied the discount. Although it was a standard plan, both dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious...

This hotel is special because everything is handmade. I love that local artists and craft is supported here and would live to see more of that around Japan.
We liked the hotel very much. It surely needs renovation in some areas, but you forget about this, because the hotel service is very good. The staff is very helful and welcoming, many free amenities are provided: yukata clothes for kids for all ages, socks for geta shoes, face sheet masks for ladies. Futons are very cosy, kaiseki dinner was worth it, but if your kids do not like Japanese style food...
I like the parking lot, it has a roof so it doesn't get snowed on. The food is delicious and of good quality.
A lovely hotel with a great onsen. Traditional Japanese breakfast was delicious! Not much going on around the hotel though restaurant-wise, it’s definitely easier coming with a car.
Very friendly staff and older hotel are very clean
A long-established hot spring hotel! Including breakfast and dinner, it’s really cost-effective! The food is super delicious, from sashimi to small pots! Strawberry wine for appetizer, hot tea and dessert after meal! The hot springs are also quite good. We are a family of four adults with children, and we had a very satisfying stay! Highly recommend! We spent 2 nights and it was perfectly worth it. Truly crafted and thoughtfully artistic ryokan. A valuable hot spring inn that accepts one person during the busy season at the end of the year. Although it was a single room, it was a spacious and comfortable room with good sunlight. Ryokan full of art and nature. ❤️ Itamuro Onsen Daikokuya combines the joys of relaxing hot baths, delicious ryokan eats, and thoughtful art. Art themed, well designed Japanese ryokan. We arrived in deep snow, and the snowed view was simply amazing. Front desk called me 1day before arriving just to make sure my arrival in bad weather. I had a lovely stay at this hostel. The staff was so welcoming and nice ! Very pretty rooms and a comfy and clean bed! I extended twice because I was taking surf lessons near by ! I would definitely book again.
Location Fantastic location! Conveniently situated near two train stations and surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. Staff Absolutely lovely! The staff were friendly, warm, and always ready to help. Room No complaints about the size—we knew what to expect when booking. However, the soundproofing could use improvement, as conversations from the next room and hallway were clearly audible....
Very cute hostel! I honestly did not find any problem concerning the sound or hygiene. I actually slept quite well! And the staff is very sweet. I only gave it 4 stars for 3 reasons: 1. There is not socialization/activities in the lobby. Granted it’s not everyone’s cup of tea and I might have been unlucky, but I was sad to not be able to talk with strangers more. 2. The room I stayed had no lock. Nothing...
I stayed in the women’s dorm and really enjoyed my time at IZA Enoshima Guest House and Bar. The location is super convenient—just a short walk to the train stations, the beach, and Enoshima Island. It’s our first time visiting Nikko. The hotel is quite a distance from Nikko station so walking is not an option (take bus 2A/2C) and stop at stop number 11. Then, walk 5mins upslope to the hotel. Traditional Japanese hot spring hotel, the door still uses a key, the room is spacious, the decoration is old-fashioned but clean, you can see the stream outside the window. We had a wonderful stay at Fukiya. The property is beautiful - a classic upscale Japanese Ryokan. The service was over the top. The entire staff was wonderful and gave us care beyond any experience we have had anywhere else, and the food and baths were wonderful. We highly recommend it.
Fukiya is an old ryokan on the hill in Yugawara village. Water of Natural hot spring seems to be active and healing. Ryokan itself old but really good maintained. The place is extremely clean! we really enjoyed the breakfast - a must have here. cute garden and the location is perfect, close to the temple.
Nikko Hoshino Yado was, without a doubt, the most stunning chapter of our trip. It's much more than just a hotel; it's a living temple of Japanese aesthetics. The beauty of its garden is comparable to the renowned Ruriko-in – the same interplay of light and shadow, the same myriad shades of autumn leaves, but with an added sense of private immersion. For tourists, this is easily better than most of the "normal" hotels in Tokyo. Check in and check out was a breeze. Clean amf spacious room. Lots of restaurants not too far from the hotel.
Check in and out was super easy. The staff are nice and the hotel itself is very clean. It is near the red light district of Shinjuku so I think there could be some adult companionship rentals because they allow min of 3 hours to “rest” but we didn’t see or experience anything seedy. Our room was roomy in Japanese standards, and the shower is large and had great water pressure.
Great hotel.. bed were super hard though. I had trouble sleeping. We didn’t know it was a love hotel but the staff

This is a very good inn. As it is a ryokan with a culinary inn feel, I had high expectations for the food, but it exceeded my expectations. Also, all the staff were kind and polite, which left a good impression. Thank you very much. I would like to visit this inn again.

We checked in in August 2025. When booking, there were no "non-smoking" rooms available, so we booked a "smoking" room. When we asked the front desk if they could help us change rooms, they said there were no other non-smoking rooms available. We had booked two nights, and they wouldn...
I had a comfortable stay in a spacious bed. Thank you!
It was very good. The room was clean and spacious. The location was also close to the station, so I'd like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
The room was big, but the smoking room had a terrible smell. For business travelers with variable schedules, it's better to book one night at a time. In the afternoon, there's coffee available in the lobby, which is also very large and beautiful. Plus, there were staff members who spoke Chinese and proactively offered help. Highly recommend!
I had a really enjoyable stay at Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, which made it feel comfortable and relaxing throughout my stay. Its location is also very convenient, as it’s just a short walk from the train station, making it easy to get around Tokyo. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions or requests. Overall, a...
