Richmond Hotel Tokyo Shiba in Tokyo

It’s just few block away from the Tokyo tower.

My recent stay at the Richmond Hotel Tokyo Shiba was quite a shock, definitely not as good as previous Richmond stays. I encountered a lot of issues during my four nights there. First, regarding my request for 'no corner room' – I had communicated this in advance via Ctrip. However, each floor at this hotel is small with only a few rooms, so there's not really a distinction between corner or non-corner. But I was still assigned a corner room on the top floor, which was really inconvenient. If the elevators were busy, I had to wait quite a while 😂. Two elevators really aren't enough.

Next, the cleanliness. On my first day, I didn't select the continuous stay option on the TV. The hotel's policy is to clean every three days. I changed it to have cleaning for the remaining three days. But, dramatically, the first cleaning was fine, while the second and third had issues. During the second cleaning, the hotel's cleaning staff left two of their rags in my room. I wrote a note, but received no response, giving me the impression they just thought 'oh well, it's in your room now' 😃. The third cleaning was very simplified, and some areas were clearly missed.

As for the front desk, their English proficiency was quite limited, and sometimes they couldn't understand what I was saying. However, the female staff generally maintained a smiling service, while some of the male staff were expressionless.

I originally chose this hotel because of its good location, close to the JR station, which was indeed convenient. It's also close to Shiba Shinmei Shopping Street, Shiba Park, and Tokyo Tower. But I'd say the service was mediocre 😂. The room was also quite small, and I felt there were too few power outlets.

I've stayed here three times now, and every time I visit Tokyo, I choose this hotel. The location is very convenient and the rooms are really comfortable.

This hotel chain maintains its consistent style. Although the 16-square-meter room was a bit small, we were still able to open two 30-inch suitcases comfortably. The hotel's location is excellent; Tokyo Tower is right outside, there's a Starbucks downstairs, and within 100 meters, you'll find three supermarkets and a McDonald's. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. Shiba Park is just a 5-minute walk away.

The hotel location is strategic and it is close to Daimon Train Station and walkable distance to Tokyo Tower. nearby have a lot of restaurants and attraction point. will come back again in next Tokyo Visit

Right outside the hotel, you can see Tokyo Tower. Transportation is very convenient; it's only about a 30-minute monorail ride from Haneda Airport to Hamamatsucho station. Both the room and bathroom were spotless, and this room type had enough space to fully open a 26-inch suitcase.

The location is excellent, very close to both subway and JR stations, providing incredibly convenient access to major shopping districts and the airport. Every day, returning to the hotel, I was greeted by beautiful views of Tokyo Tower. Even the street-facing rooms offered a view of Tokyo Tower. This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Tokyo.

Location: Daimon station very near and easy transfer to and from Narita airport without transit. Hotel close to Tokyo Tower too.
Environment: Quiet at night. Good for sleep.
Hotel: Nice n well maintained. The hotel looks new & modern with a simple design.
Room: Space is ok for couples and can accommodate 1 to 3 luggage (large + medium/small) without feeling cramped.
Staff: Friendly & can speak english.
Things to improve: Pillow too thin.

Recommended to those who want easy access to the airport and need a quiet environment at night.

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and polite. It was also very quiet. A major highlight was being able to see Tokyo Tower right outside the entrance. The location is incredibly convenient, with subway stations very close by, a Starbucks right downstairs, and plenty of restaurants in the vicinity.

Close to tokyo towei, room is small but facilities are good. There is a starbuckd under the hotel.
