It is a very convenient location with excellent service from the staff. However, the hotel has no flexibility at all, such as allowing early check‑in or late check‑out, even though we stay there frequently. Everything must strictly follow the rules.
I understand this policy, but I wanted to mention it in this review in case others might think that negotiating with the hotel is possible.
Aside from this issue, I would describe the place as perfect. If I travel to Japan again and need to use the train frequently, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Great stay at APA Hotel Yamanote Otsuka Ekimae Tower. Clean rooms, friendly service, and an excellent location near the station. Rooms are small . Good value for Tokyo — I would stay again.

Nice clean hotel very close to the Yamanote metro line, 3 min walk Away. Roms are small but comfy. Staff is nice and helpfull but dont expect 1 minute earlier check in if you dont pay extra. Lifts are a nightmare at around 10 am and you Can wait a Long time to get down due to check outs. Checkout was easy. Breakfast in the café was only good for those who enjoy fish and Coffee ø, the western style was terrible as in most Japanese hotels, but there are a lots of good caffees in the area that gives you an better offer.
