Toyoko Inn Tokyo Kamata No.1 in Tokyo

It's small compared to other Toyoko Inn hotels, and the breakfast isn't great.

There are restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance, so that's a plus.

The walls are thin, so you can hear noise from the next room.

Bad, uncomfortable

This is one of the oldest Toyoko-inn or if I'm not mistaken the first one, I'm 5'9 and the bed just fits me right.
The room is small...really small.
The lobby is tiny, and that is where you pick up your breakfast and take it to your room, breakfast consist of donuts, small croissants, slices of white bread and the like, and there's a small carafe of coffee. You don't get hot rice, miso soup, scramble eggs, meatballs, etc etc.
The toaster is a regular one and after breakfast is gone...and there is a microwave on the 5th floor.
The toilet is tiny and if you're a hefty person it will be a struggle to use it.
This place beats a capsule hotel but not by much and it should be price accordingly.

Toyoko Inn founded store. There are many differences from the latest stores.
There is no chain lock on the door.
Sleepwear and anime tea are placed in the room in advance instead of being brought by yourself from the front desk.
No light to illuminate the bedside.
The width of the bed is narrow. (Because it is super value, it may be an economy single room ...)
Turn off the refrigerator. It is confusing because the lamp is lit even when it is off. Recent stores are already cold.
TV is small.
Breakfast is basically only one set of 2-3 breads. There is no rice from the beginning. Of course, I'm not satisfied with this alone. There is no eating and drinking space at the front desk.
Toilets in the lobby are prohibited.
There is a park in front of me, so a huge number of birds are gathering and the noise and dung damage are terrible. (This is not due to Toyoko Inn ...)
This service level is the same as the Jr (junior) store.

Room and Services are nornal, but too far from station.
